Here's one for you, when did this get announced?! According to its wikipedia page it's going back to GRID's roots, http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grid_Autosport, in-car camera returns, looks like Endurance, Touring, Drifting races are back and 22 locales (San Francisco is back!) consisting of 100 racing routes. GRID Autosport will be releasing for PC, Xbox 360 & PS3 on June 24th.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing when I saw news posted about this the other day. What? Anyway, I usually like Grid games a lot. I'm in for at least a rental to start. A shame they didn't include Next-gen.

Added Open Wheel video to OP.

That was actually one of the things I loved in GRID. I'd take F3 cars and race on the muscle car circuits like Detroit, Washington and San Francisco.

"This is GRID Autosport, this is racing.

Set to feature 22 locations including circuits such as Hockenheimring, Mount Panorama, Circuit of the Americas, Intercity Istanbul Park, Circuito Del Jarama, Circuit Mont Tremblant, Red Bull Ring, Sepang International Circuit, Spa-Francorchamps, Yas Marina Circuit, Okutama, Indianapolis, Autosport Raceway, Brands Hatch and Autódromo do Algarve.

City tracks are also feature and include; Barcelona, Chicago, Detroit, Dubai, Paris, San Francisco and Washington.

In your garage you'll have over 80 cars to choose from, including the Honda Civic Touring Car, a Ford GT40 MK1, Mazda 787B, Lola B05/52 or a McLaren P1™, whatever type of racing you prefer, we've got you covered.

Race across five unique disciplines; Touring, Open Wheel, Endurance, Tuner and Street.

RaceNet Clubs will allow you to form your own online groups where you can compare progress, compete with other players in the club on a leaderboard, and battle for overall supremacy with other clubs.

Coming June 24th in North America, June 27th in Europe."

Oh god, I'm crying from pure joy.

Anybody pick this up? Due to life I'm gonna have go hold off on it for now. Weird some reviews just point out how this should have been Grid 2, there's no new features but solid racing, and weak the career is. *shrugs*

Yeah, it's either this or a Nintendo Wii U game next for me from Gamefly so I will let them choose. I'm kind of lukewarm on it with so much else going on but I still would like to play at some point. Wish it was for One as well.

I'm sure I will enjoy it. Heck, I still think about Dirt Showdown sometimes.
