I know it's not the best headset in the market (got a pair of Astro A40's when Microsoft store had some for 89.99) but just in case ppl are interested its 68.63. 11.36 off retail price (MSRP is $79.99).

These look like $20 headphones to me.. Do they sound good is the question though?

These were made by me:  :xb1:  :ps4:   :vita:
Thank you CheapyD for implementing them.

These are stereo headphones with no surround sound in sight. Pass.

I recommend the Sony Gold headset though. Very solid build and sound quality.

I have them, and while there maybe no surround sound, they are excellent and work very well, not to mention they are very comfortable. I highly recommend them, and the price is good to boot.

The Astro A40's a lot more comfortable than these but I like the stereo headset because other than the wire connected to the controller, you don't have to plug anything else in.

Can't you use the A40's with the headset adapter?

I have these and they are very comfortable and sound great. I'm not to picky though when it comes to sound. I really like them

I've been eyeing this up the past week or so at this price. Can't decide if it's worth it or not. I got so burned on the 360 wireless headset that I'm a little skeptical buying another Microsoft headset

if you plan on every getting a ps4 or ps3 in the future eventually as well then I would recommend the Sony gold headset and then buy the Xbox one headset adaptor and that way you can use the same headset for both systems

You can. I use A50's just fine.

Yeah but sometimes the adapter is hit or miss for me. I wish they had a more simple solution rather than requiring the stupid adapter.

I thought these were the ones shocking people. Read some favorable reviews for it though. Having one cord to the controller giving you game and chat audio is something I could use. For my 360 I use a no name Sharkoon Xtatic ST headset and it's an amazing sounding headset for the price, got it off Amazon for $40 many years ago on a Gold item sale, but yeah I gotta plug another cord to the Xbox so it's not that easy to switch from Xbox 360 to Xbox One with it. The 360 is also using the VGA and audio split while the X1 is using HDMI.

Haven't heard a good thing yet about these. I recommend spending more for the Turtle Beach XO Four's instead, I've had them since launch and really like them.

Most of the reviews for these have been favorable. They are the first video game headset I've used and I like them a lot. They are very comfortable and I'm happy with the sound. I don't use chat so I can't comment on that aspect.
