Just ordered a DualShock 4 for $44.99 off the Newegg iPhone app and selecting to pay with Google Wallet. Super easy if you have access to an iPhone. I'm posting from work so can't fill out all the details, but the promo was front and center on the Newegg app.

No replies?  Seems like it could be a nice deal to me.  Anyone else tried this?  

Not sure I want anything from Newegg is the thing.

How does this actually work? I've tried it with my phone but I'm not sure what to do. Can you lay out the directions or something? o.o Thanks.

 
If it's anything like the Android app promotions from the past, you have to use the Newegg iOS app to make the purchase. During checkout there should be an option to use Google Wallet as payment :) Don't think there is a promo code needed, but you should see the adjustment before you finish the order.

And if you haven't used Google Wallet before, it works kind of like paypal - you can just use your credit card :)

Anyone have any idea if this would work for a PSN Plus 1 year card? I know it doesn't work for gift cards. I asked over on SD, but here is a pissin' contest there about iOS vs. Android and a few people have asked to no avail. Thanks for any info.

 
Does this actually still work? I tried it about an hour ago on an iPad and did not get the option to use Google Wallet at checkout. Only Paypal and something called Mastersomethingsomething.

Are you using the iPad app? This deal is only for the Newegg iPhone app.

It applies the discount automatically if you pick pay with Google. That launches a browser where you log in with your Google account. I already had a credit card set up so I didn't have to do anything besides log in and make sure the shipping address was right. You can set up your payment info on Google first. https://wallet.google.com/manage/?tab=ma
 
Can I just add money from my bank account to my Google Wallet and use that as payment instead? When I went to check out with Google Wallet, it said I needed to enter in credit/debit card info. I'd rather not use my credit card, which is why I usually like using Paypal.

Update: I couldn't get the pre-order button to work on their iphone app so did the newegg chat thing and they said to go ahead and pre-order and when they send me the game they will credit me $15 bucks. Not bad, not bad at all :)

 
Anyone know if you can use shoprunner? The shipping rates kill the deal for me. It's $8 to ship a case and some RAM. I'd much rather pay the extra $8 difference on Amazon to get what I need with 2 day rather than the 5-7 day shipping.

I believe it has to say shop runner eligible My game was not eligible but it had free 4-7 shipping..

 
Just ordered the Sony Gold Wireless headset price at Newegg: $84.99 + $15 promo = $69.99 free shipping no tax not bad at all.

Great headset for $69.99 total. I wanted to wait for the white version of it, but $69.99 for those headsets is tough to pass up. 

I had to use my nieces iPhone to get the deal lol I don't use apple products.

I'm pretty sure its not suppose to work on pre orders. Nice of them to do that :D

 
I could get two classic wii controllers and the two wii mote battery charging station for $27. Now I just need to come up with another $23 but not a game sense i just use my GCU for games.

 
Is anyone having trouble gettting this to work? When I put the $49.xx PS+ card, the Google Wallet options shows. When I add a filler item with free shipping the Google Wallet option disappears. I chatted to Newegg support and they said it was Wallet's problem. And I talked to them and they said they'd have to email me back later. This headache is making it not worth getting PS+ for $35.xx

 
Are the cards eligible? I thought I read they weren't.

I received my order a couple days ago and still haven't been charged yet. Hope it stays that way.

Be sure that both items are sold and fulfilled by Newegg Inc.
