BEST BUY - Special Edition Xbox 360 controllers: $34.99

All my controllers end up with stuck buttons, even a new one I bought last year. My only one without stuck buttons has chewed off thumb stick rubber :/

The joys of having small kids!

If GCU worked on these, I'd order at least one of them.

Any CAG's feel that the d-pad is truly improved in this edition?

I know what you mean..except my kids use the wii u gamepad and that's not so easily replaceable. I bought one of those nerf protectors for it. Does a decent job against drops

I have no idea why I am tempted by these stupid things.... I kinda want that chrome blue, I love blue (UK nut). I already have a wired, a rapid fire old school black and camo from the $30 BB sale last year.

Edit: to answer a earlier question yes I prefer these D-pads much more than the originals. You can rotate it to be near flat like old school 360 or were the + is much more pronounced. Better yes but Sony controller D-pad quality, no way.

It's improved, but it still isn't great. The ability to twist the D-Pad to make the button 'cross' more pronounced is good, but it still has the same, or at least similar, sensitivity problem where the angle can be misinterpreted, so something like a down press could be mistaken for a right-down or left-down press. It doesn't resolve the issue, it just helps slightly.

But if you're looking for stylish wireless controllers then these are a good buy.

I think he D pad is actually much improved, but still not as good as Sony, Nintendo, or the Xbox one's D pad. The analog sticks on these feel better too, on the old controllers the little bumps always wear off after some time, these feel like they give you a little more grip.

Picked up a blue one at my local BB this afternoon. So pretty.

The blue and red ones were on the clearance rack priced at $51.99, so I had to get them to look up the BB.com price.

Got the red one from Amazon awhile back when it was $21 or so. It's just sitting there sealed collecting dust  but yet I'm still tempted to go for the blue.

Agreed. While there isn't THAT much difference in the newer controllers, they just feel so much better to me. Those bumps on the old analog sticks wear down after time, and the new ones have a nice concave area where you place your thumb. The d-pad isn't great, but significantly better than the original.

The shiny ones do pick up fingerprints, but not as bad as you might think.

If you are on the fence, I'd say go for it. I look at it as a in-between of the original 360 controller and the XB1 controller.

If you got 1 or 2 working controller might as well just wait.  There will be more deals when store are clearing space for PS4/Xbox1 stuff.

These look beautiful (in a Vegas kind of way), but are they as nightmarishly prone to picking up fingerprints as they look like they would be?
I have both the Red and Purple chrome controllers. They really do not show fingerprints. They look like they would, but they really don't. They did a great job of somehow making them shiny, and yet resist fingerprints. So $35 is a great price for these, go ahead and buy it if you've been wanting one.

alright, decision time...so I have 2 regular black controllers already...called Gamestop and the TIV is $10 base plus 40% promo makes it $14...can pick up one of these from BB for $15 after using a $20 cert.  should I trade one of the black controllers or just keep it and have 3?

Is this sale all week? Still debating getting one... I have 2 blacks, a silver and a white but 2 of them have sticks that wander to the left on there own and another has a sticky button so only 1 controller works well.

Ordered a Silver Chrome controller just now.  Couldnt find anything to push me over for free shipping so I did my TLOU PS4 preorder as well.  Total was $54.98 for both after a $20 RZ cert!

Blue and Silver are back to near full price. This deal might be ending soon.
I'm not sure why, but I don't think those two colors were ever meant to be $35. In store, they were ringing up as $51.99 and you had to PM their website to get the $35. I think they finally caught their mistake. Glad I got my blue one!
