Earth Defense Force 2025 19.99 New at GameStop *Amazon PM'd 360 ver

Looks like it's only the PS3 version on sale. I've read that the 360 version is preferable performance-wise, but I may just have to go ahead with the PS3 version since I've been waiting on a price drop. Thanks OP!

 
Got this game on release. Lots of fun if you enjoyed the old games. Basically more or less of the same but with even more specialized classes to play as!

Very tempting. I was waiting for the PSN price drop since I know I will play this like a ton (platinumed 2017 vita) But, this price is so tempting.

 
Double dipping on 360 version. Was very disappointed in the performance on the ps3 version.
 
AWESOME.  No bs, just yesterday I was checking prices for this thinking it was about time it dropped to 30 or below.  Could anyone clarify if this is a price drop (permanent) or just a sale/promotion?

 
I just sent this back to gamefly because it was way too buggy. I was playing co op tho. I swore I wouldn't buy unless $10 on psn, but idk.... probly gonna wait. Please guys check gameplay first. It is fun solo player but still no one really online and game just really needed to get patched again. Great game but really the technical issues killed it. If it played perfectly, especially in co op, I would love it. My girl and I had a blast and there is sooo much content. We could hardly get past the 2nd spider level because only 2 of us and they kept shooting through walls and killed us so fast. Eventually we each became wing divers (fliers) but then we could barely make it past other levels with only 2 of us. We didn't want to have to lower to easy, but you can't play 4 player online with a co op couch buddy. And online was pretty dead cept random levels here and there. Kind of like lost planet and mindjack. so much fun, but 20 is still too much id have to say.

Im a sucker for EDF so I picked up the PS3 version (sealed of course) at lamestop

Cant see it going too much lower and I think this is a very short sale so im not going to take a chance

360 version runs so much better than ps3. Soooo much better.

Even still had the page on my phone from before I had walked in.

im a hippo and went and bought it. I just wish they would patch it. but i doubt it. We will try to do co op 2 player once we have some op weapons from playing online co op. Just wish the frame rate would stabilize damnit!

 
This is the first time i see amazon unpricematch something... time to submit price again to amazon for the 360 copy.  And my local gamestop only have gutted copy.

Grabbed 2, one for myself and one for my friend's upcoming birthday.  Hope the online is stable enough to be operational.  Thanks to the op for the heads up.

 
Is the couch co-op unplayable on the PS3 version? I'm probably going to buy a copy since I locked in the trade in price from yesterday and if it sucks too bad I'll just trade it back in.
