Vintage Transformers, Packaging Glue Starting to Weaken and Deteriorate

This is what is going on...
I have some Vintage Transformers from the 90s, however I've noticed the glue holding the blister pack/plastic to the card is starting to deteriorate.
One of the character's pack entire left side has weakened that if moved it looks like it will swing open.
How do I fix it, and still retain the collector's value?

I was planning on emailing them at some point (RiD, Beast Wars).

 
I thought by vintage, you meant G1 or G2. That would really suck if you had stuff from those eras that were damaged. I've got a ton of RiD stuff sitting around too and all of it's still holding up fine (as of late last year- should probably re-check) so normal age alone probably isn't the reason. It was probably due to condensation or humidity. 

Humidity isn't an issue when it's cold, but when it's warm or hot, then humidity can basically weak/melt glue. Condensation works in much the same manner except that condensation results from changes in temperature and can warp/stretch anything paper/cardboard related but because the glue remains solid, it basically detaches from the glue due to age. 

I would just leave those alone. Trying to fix something can often make people think or assume it was much worse than it looks. Collectors who buy new/sealed items will look over an item with great detail and if there's any signs of repair, they're not going to like it. If your stuff was already opened, then it's not a huge deal. Just make sure to keep everything.

Well considering I moved from Michigan to Massachusetts humidty and didn't install an airconditioner in my new place till last week... there is a lot to be said.

It's not really open, just like a corner has peeled open and run down the side. I am a collector as well, but I open all mine hehe.
