Wireless Stereo Headset - Playstation 3 and 4 *** Sony Refurbished ***

Saw this on Slick deals and thought I'd post here.  I thought they were especially cool that you can use them with pretty much any source with a 3.5mm jack.

As a owner...AVOID at all cost. They have a very well documented issue where the hinges on the headphones naturally stretch and crack in 2 after about 6 months or so of use. Sony (just like their tv 3d failure) is ignoring the issue and refuse to honor any kind of warranty fixing it also. I will say they are amazing headphones especially the fake virtual 7.1 sound (non dolby), but i regret my purchase to this day as mine are starting to crack as every other long time owner has described.

I have no problems with the headset and enjoy them. The bass it has is pretty intense! All the issues were fixed with firmware updates and it's been out for at least 2 years now. It used to be a $149.99 headset, but can't go wrong for $39.99.

A firmware update isn't going to fix flaws in the design.

Not sure why people are saying Sony doesn't offer warranties. I bought the pulse elites in September of last year and when one of the ear cups started to lose sound I contacted support and they said that they are under warranty for one year.
