Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z @ Best Buy $16.00 with GCU (Only) discount and coupon

The other 2 deals available make BLOPS 2 for the Wii U 18.99/15.20 after GCU and a 8' Rocketfish HDMI Cable 7.99 (save $42  :bs: )

I wanted to play this game for the longest and now that its cheap as shit, I don't want to. Go figure.
Considering it's from the team that gave us ng3, it'll probably suck. Razors Edge wasn't a bad game but when you compare it to the worst action game ever made anything would look good.

I started playing it last night after getting it for $10 through Gamefly.

I'm a big fan of the first two Gaiden games, but this... it's got style and some good ideas, but the execution is off. It's not as good as you think it is. I'm not even sure if I'll finish it.

It will be 10-12 bucks on gamefly soon enough. Its already had sales for less than this. GCU is just letting you have the inevitable price drop a little early. Just wait and youll get it for less.

:x it got a terrible metascore.. time to check gameplay videos!

Edit: :x ninja zombie hack n slash with an awful plot.. I'll wait for it to go under $10

You shouldn't play Ninja Gaiden games based on plot lol. This game looks like a tounge-in-cheek, grindhouse b-movie take on the series and that's why I was interested in playing it but the gameplay looks so limited compared to past NG games. I can live with a shitty plot if I have a ton of fun wrecking enemies while playing through it.

And fuck Metascore, people. Metascore and Rotten Tomatoes are the devil.

It's already $9.99 in the Gamefly sale going on now. You have another day or two before the sale ends.

what the hells wrong with people why would you give this a 1 star rating just because you dont like the game? Yeesh. Thanks for the heads up im gonna snag a copy to check out

This game is not made by NG3 team, but it's just as bad. NG1/2 quality is long gone along with original development team. I'm actually surprised how well DOA5/U turned out considering it's from a much lesser quality team. However, I don't expect any new IP coming from the current Team Ninja as they will most likely not be up to the task to deliver anything close to the former team. They will just keep milking the Ninja Gaiden and Dead or Alive brands, which is fine as long as they don't do another NG3 on us. ;)

Thanks. Just ordered one for pickup. Hopefully it has the extras. I've never seen just the regular versions in-store.

What kind of a question is that? The price is not so cheap, so if people think the game is bad, they'll give the thread one star to signify that they think it's not a deal.

There's still a monetary cost for growing and harvesting your own food or hunting.
What if you happen to live on a plot of land with fruit trees, or happen to know a thing or two about catching small game? There's free food out there, that's all I'm saying. It may not be accessible to everyone, but it's there.

I can confirm it doesn't apply on a normal transaction in store when I tried today, so I ordered online. I wouldn't worry about not getting the extra comic or whatever it is, I've never seen any copy of the game not include it and I am doubtful this game had more prints than the original run.

I'd say its likely the plot was paid for at some point, whether outright or rented, and unless you're out there handcrafting arrows and snares with handmade tools there is a cost for trapping/hunting supplies as well. If we're going to go off of stipulations that dont apply to the majority then there's always fetishists out there who enjoy being defecated on and pay for it thus making not all shit free to begin with.

You can make very simple traps for small game and fish with sticks. Also, you do realize houses exist on plots of land, right? Or are you implying the sole, or major intent of a person's purchase, when a fruit tree exists on the land, is to purchase that fruit tree? No, that fruit tree added little to no value to the house. Most people deem them a burden actually, as they invite pests. Having a fruit tree on your land doesn't mean you paid for it (also, what's stopping me from grabbing a few apples off a friendly neighbor's tree?). Also, you do realize fruit grows in the wild, right? Not everyone lives in a city. Many of us have access to nature. I've got a wild berry bush near my driveway. I haven't eaten anything off of it, but it looks to be safe. Nonetheless, we didn't invent fruit, and it doesn't exist because we grow it. It's there for the taking. Maybe not yours, but it's there for many others.

Now are you done starting arguments for no reason?

I never claimed anyone was purchasing land solely for a tree, but if you buy land and there is a tree on it you are paying for a tree. In any case I conceded that there are options out there for free food but they don't apply to the majority. However you ignored my last statement which, if we are taking into account any stipulation for any subset of people regardless of size, my final example negates your original claim of shit being free. Not all food necessarily costs money but not all shit is necessarily free. I'd venture to say that this deal is actually cheaper than shit in that scenario.

As far as starting arguments for no reason, I was simply pointing out inaccuracies. Your original comment, completely unrelated to the deal, is far more contrarian than anything I've posted and literally for no reason.

I said "shit is free," not "all shit is free," or "all food is free." You've done nothing but ramble. My point stands. Also, food, although scare, is freely available to a large portion of humanity, and it's provided by nature. Whether we're talking about rural people in the US, or peoples throughout developing and third world nations that need to get their food from nature. We're not talking about a tiny minority of people here. Free food is freely available to most people, just not all people. Living in a city makes you dependent on other people in every conceivable way. Most people don't live in cities though...

By the way, you're not purchasing trees when you purchase a house, unless you're in an upscale neighborhood with some pretty expensive landscaping and you've got a real specialty tree that's the focus of the yard. I have loads of oak trees on my property. I can guarantee not a dime of the purchase went toward them.

Anyway, your entire argument seems to be based on my saying "all," when in fact I didn't. So why are you even arguing?

Its implied and is the very purpose of your statement in the first place to address someone saying it was cheap as shit.

Essentially saying "Shit is free, this isn't." Not "Most shit is free, so you must be speaking of the shit which isn't. I understand."

I mean we are taking semantics into account, aren't we? We must be especially considering we all know it wasn't a literal comparison in the first place.

I have been on CAG for over 11 years now, and I can say I have never seen a thread derail into a farming argument. Maybe this conversation would be better off in the Farming Simulator game forum (if there is one???)

If this is as good as Ninja Gaiden 3 then I'm sold.
LOL. Well, it's on the same level of suckiness. The gameplay is totally different though. Maybe you'll like it but I didn't dig it much if at all.

I didn't rate this thread but I do agree with you. The game is pretty bad plus it was just $9.99 at gamefly last week. This definitely isn't such great price even with GCU.

I suggest you take a look at your purchase contract for the home. In almost every example I have ever seen, it states that you are purchasing the fixtures as part of that purchase. Trees and most landscaping would be considered a fixture under real property laws in most states. So, while in your mind the trees have no value or additional cost, they are in fact part of the property you purchased as part of your home and if the previous owner had pulled them all out before you moved in without your permission, you could have sued that owner for damages..

So did I also purchase the dead rat in the basement, or was that free?

I usually find good things in every game I play but this game in particular I disliked fully. I paid $15 from Gamefly a few weeks and now I feel ripped off. The combat is shallow and not very fun. The story is non existent. Uses very immature and vulgar to just be vulgar humor. Ryu is not in the game at all. The game is cheap in its difficulty, by throwing multiple powerful enemies at you with multiple waves. It's not fun just tedious and cheap. And I beat it in 3 hours on Hard, dying a ton. I highly recommend not buying it. Even at $10.

Wow, I remember how this game was sort of a big idea... seeing the price drop now, I'm more curious of how it failed so hard.

He is in the game. Did you really play the game fully? Either way though, the game is pretty meh like you said. It may be worth a run at $5 disc or digital, new or used, but that's as much as anyone should pay.
