no dlc on wii u and not sure if it has off tv play (dont have wii u connected to tv) so I might pass
It does have off TV mode. DLC and online is a non issue for me personally in regards to Origins.

There is off tv play but there is no way to start it without going through the menu (or memorizing the menu progression.) Still I thought it was decent but was very bummed out to miss out on the Freeze DLC.

yeah unless the wii u is literally the only thing you can game on don't buy this game for wii u. its not a good game (compared to the previous two), and the PC/ps3/360 versions are better and will be getting GOTY editions soon enough with everything packaged in. On greenmangaming you can buy the PC versions of the first two games for $10 right now, both GOTY editions with all DLCs.
