The last time I went into a Kmart, their game section was all cleared out... I don't think I saw anything but 1 Mario/Luigi bros bundle.

They can look up the UPC in store to see what stores in the area have it.

I miss the days of emailing SHC Gamer a UPC code and he replies with list of the entire country's inventory.

Stopped by my local Kmart for the first time in a few years. Gaming section is about the size of a master bathroom. Not only were there no Zelda bundles, they didn't have any Wii U systems. Period.

Congrats on those able to cash in on this deal.

 
Wow nice. I got mine used for $150 on Craigslist last year but I would be all over this if I didn't have one.

Kmart has some pretty good clearances on systems sometimes. Got my R2D2 Xbox 360 for $300 there a few years ago,

Same here but unfortunately they closed down about 2 months later. It was a gold mine for clearance, nobody shopped there.

 
I'd argue my Kmart is the worst in existence, but I'm gonna have to venture out for the chance of a deal tomorrow.

Well... I just wasted over an hour of my life. I tracked one down, but it was $240. 

Right after I made my last post, I decided, what the hell, I'll give it a try. I know the golden rule is never call, but I figure that the Wii U is unpopular enough with the ghetto highschooler/younger crowd that normally works at our department stores that they wouldn't be snagged by an employee. First Kmart I called, no luck. Second one, I call... they have 1 left and the employee asked if I wanted to know the price and I said, no, that's ok. 

It's kinda far, about half an hour away due to traffic... get there, see it, wait for a rep (who was working/helping two people in front of me), ask for the employee to ring it up... $240.00 (on the dot). I grab it and leave. 

I could have watched two episodes of The Walking Dead during this time.

Aw man, I don't see any stores around me with one in stock. I'll call tomorrow but I doubt anything will come of it. I've been looking for one too. Oh well.

I had that happen to me once before on clearance stuff 6 out of my 6 local stores marked stuff down before but only 5 out of 6 marked them the same and the 6th store was different. There some stray stores that are behind the rest but 98% of the kmart stores are always the same price wise with clearance stuff and the other 2% work different I still haven't figured out why

Unfortunately I think the only one anywhere near me is shut down. Even though I bought a NSMBU bundle I'd bite on this just for the collector value.

 
I'll go check mine in the morning but I doubt my Kmart will have any. Their game section gets smaller every time I go there.

 
Is the price online the same instore? And is the inventory checker good to go off or should I just go to the store? Mine is showing $300.
