Is there a non digibook? I hate those things.

I have been wanting Ghostbusters on blu ray and id love the anniversary edition but I dont like the book versions. I know like the halloween 35th was a digibook but I found a normal case version of it as well.

Could get a really good price out of this assuming there will be deals on it the week it comes out.

Are you serious? Would you prefer them encased in cardboard?

Weird. Digibooks are my favorite type of case, except the Target ones. Those suck.

So this is for either or and not the 1&2 Ghostbuster collection on the coupon?
The coupon is good on (from the OP):

It looks like the combo packs are the only ones in special packaging. If you just want the discs, you could just buy the two individually and put them in one double disc case.

Cool! I was planning to grab Ghostbusters II when it came out anyway (I already have the first one) so this will definitely come in handy.
Thanks OP! :D

Is that before or after coupon? Best Buy will $18 before coupon for the digibook.
$13 for both on Bluray is good enough for me. If Walmart has an advertise price that I can match and use the coupon (since it is a manufactures coupon they usually don't care about matching and using - they get the $5 back either way) awesome, but I have gift cards at Best Buy and will be happy with it for $13.

I think the people on the Bluray.com forums are saying most Best Buys will get 2-3 copies of the Digipak. and maybe 4 each of the single releases. So you might want to try and get there at opening.

Someone who works at Walmart said 4 copies as well, do it doesn't look like there's a lot of them being stocked.

Thanks for the heads up. Can't get there early but there are a couple of stores in the area. Worse case scenario I'll order in store so they can apply the coupon but ship it.

Somebody posted on the blu-ray.com forums that the in-store price before coupon at Walmart will be $15.88 for the Digipack.

Should ring up at $14.96, scanned them tonight while getting new releases ready, same thing for The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 40th anniversary edition. Disappointed that we are not getting in Silent Night Deadly Night on Bluray.

Oh geez, the junior detectives at my Best Buy are going to seize on the "Void if reproduced" wording they left on. (I am sure it's boilerplate, but c'mon, it's a PDF coupon!)

Does anyone know if this can be used online? I want to get the collectors edition, but no B&M stores around me have it in store...

Also, inside of the collectors, is it a plain box or the digibook edition? Thanks

Picked up the digibook for 1 + 2 at Target, though they only had 3 of them and handed my the DVD version first when I asked for it. :speaktothehand:

I forgot my coupon, though they said I could go back after the fact and they'll do an adjustment within 7 days of purchase with the receipt.  Will stop by there sometime in the next 7 days.

Made more sense to pick it up and made sure I had it instead of taking a chance they wouldn't have it this evening or later in the week.

Had no problems at Walmart with the digibook, they only had 4 (as had been mentioned in the bluray.com thread) so I was glad I went early. Cashier eyed the coupon for a second but then scanned it and it went through. GB2 looks great from a few minutes I've watched so far.

The Ultraviolet code is giving me a "Having trouble validating this code, please try again later" error... :/

Checked out a Walmart on my lunch break.  None there either.  I'll hit a few places on the way home, then I'll acquiesce and accept that the coupon for what is looking like a rare set was made just to get me in the store.

Thanks a ton OP!  Was able to get the Digi Book for $10.96 after I used the coupon at a Walmart near me around 1:30 this afternoon.  Can't beat that price when it includes UV code for both movies (had to make a Sony account and redeem it through them).  It also has a nice little booklet built into the inside with information on the movies and a ton of pictures.  There were still three there when I left.  I did call first to see if they had any but it took so long to get through to a sales person that I probably could have gotten there and looked myself faster.  Thanks again.

You don't have to redeem them on the Sony site, you can use anything that talks with a UV account (Flixster, Cinemanow, Vudu, etc.).

Yeah I usually just redeem everything on Vudu but when I went to do so today I did not see an option for the combo (didn't look very hard). Since there is only one UV code for both movies I did not want to take the chance that it only redeemed one if I just picked "Ghostbusters" for instance. I wanted to see what the deal was with Sony Rewards (it's a trap) that uses the same UV code anyhow so no harm done.

I actually had one recently where I had to go to Sony first, Vudu wouldn't take the code. Sony now has their own UV setup where you can browse your library and lay movies from their site, if that had that before I never saw it they just sent me to Vudu/Flixster/etc to redeem my movie.

Picked up a copy at Walmart for $12 after taxes and than got Best Buy to PM that receipt and got it for $12 there since I have gift cards from there.

My Best Buy had 3 copies on the shelf. I did a store pick up order at one point cause all of the other stores started showing unavailable. Didn't even need to do that. lol

I did a store pick up order at BB, but on a whim went to Walmart and they had 3 left on the shelf. Coupon used and out the door for 12 bucks and change. No hassle. Gonna let the best buy order lapse.

You could call the store and cancel the order over the phone.

STILL waiting for my local WM to find/put the damn thing on the shelf. Been there 3 times since yesterday, and still nothing. Even had one of the electronics guys scan the shelf, and it showed they had 4 in stock...where are they???? Argh!!!

Don't know if you can use the coupon, but my local Costco had tons of these for $17.99.
Costco does NOT accept coupons.

Picked up a copy yesterday at my local Walmart. They had 1 copy left after I bought mine.
