Yea this is not for the game but is instead a add on read the item description on the page:

You can lock and delete (aka "hide") your own thread, btw OP. It's in the Advanced Edit settings.

Actually it's even easier than that now, right under the title when you're viewing your own thread is "Topic Moderation," click it and tada!
