I'm just about to load up PvZ on PS4 tonight after thoroughly enjoying it on 360 earlier in the year. Can't wait to get back into it.

I was realizing we didn't have any threads that I could find on it. Why don't we post up our PSN names, console, game modes, and times we are usually on? I don't prefer anything formal and just like to hop on a friend's game when I see them playing but that's cool if anyone wants to get a real full scheduled game going.

Console: PS4
Game modes: Prefer Garden Ops or Team Vanquish but like everything. I will get the Crazy difficulty trophy someday!
Usual time: Late evenings PST

Just finished up my 3 day trial on the PC and hopefully Garden Ops isn't as lagging as it was on the PC.  Will be on late EST so maybe we can get a few rounds going.

I played a few rounds so far and no lag that I could notice. This has to be my favorite multiplayer game to come around in a while.
 
Double post. Anyway, still loving the game. Amazingly fluid animations and detail after playing it on 360. Thanks goodness for those skip challenge stars on some of these.

A few thoughts:

- I will add the new guys after I write this. It's been fun playing some rounds with you, Marauder. You win those heal awards consistently.

- the plants being imbalanced was one thing I remember hearing a lot on Xbox. I don't see that much on Vanquish but certainly on Gardens and Gravestones. I like how long those matches go but dislike the camping structure like I dislike Rush in Battlefield.

- does anyone know which pack consistently gives skip challenge stars? I never can figure it out. I've gotten it once on the 20,000 pack (surpremium?) but it would be nice to get it in one of the cheaper packs. No one seems to know after a Google search.

- not many play it but gnome bomb is a lot of fun and has a bunch of trophies for it.

- still loving the game at level 15 or so.

I'm a team first player and do everything I can to help out. Plus I can't shoot for shit to begin with.

Having problems joining Garden Ops unless I host but no one can join my game so guess I'm SOL for now until EA fixes that issue.

I will add you guys and I will be playing some tonight. I had a couple of issues at times with finding games for Garden Ops where it was constantly giving connection errors. I actually had to restart the game and/or my PS4 to fix it.
 
Add me JAlbertL. I'm looking for an excuse to play more. I'll add everyone in here if that's ok. Can we get a list going?

Yeah, always love more like-minded CAGs on my list. I still need to add some of you and hope to see you tonight.

I'm on my phone now but a list is a good idea. If anyone wants to compile the names into a list I will add it to the OP. If not I will just do it myself soon.

I might go for crazy Garden Ops tonight. Gulp. And don't forget to tell me what packs you guys are getting the skip challenge stars from.

This was the issue I had with the PC version but it might be better now. Was able to play 3 rounds of Garden Ops without any issues last night.

 
Great Game, Time-shared it for 3 weeks, platted in 1.5 week

Some of the Trophies are decently hard

Getting 10 kill with Scientist bomb is super frustration

You can solo the Crazzzzzzzzzzzzy! Garden Ops (I did) following the tactic running on youtube

(Solo less enemies per wave, smart area to camp)

Best I've done is 59 Vanquishes in a session as the Law Pea

That's awesome, Grave. Very nice. I'm still loving the game, even if I'm playing a bit less. I'm glad I got a permanent version to sit on my hard drive because sometimes I just get an itch to play it.

I will have to check out that YouTube method because I would love to get the crazy trophy.

I'm glad I wasn't the only one with trouble getting the scientist bomb trophy. Last night I thought, okay, I want to go for this one first tonight and figured it would take a couple of matches. It took me hours, but I finally got it.
 
PSA for anyone with PvZ Garden Warfare. They are giving away a free Halloween themed sticker pack every day between now and Halloween. I've gotten a couple of pretty neat character customizations items from them. They show up in your Sticker Shop as a free unopened item.

Also, does anyone have some advice on signing my son up for an origin account? The directions I've found online are from when the game first came out and seems overly complicated. Idk.
 
It gets me angry that I cant get this game yet, even though it was so cheap last week! once I get it I would like to get some buddies up for this.

 
Yeah, still an awesome game. I might be shifting my play over to Xbox One with it free for EA Access but I still boot it up sometimes on PS4. Feel free to add me and I'm usually more tempted when I see you guys online playing it.

LOL, that will be my third version of this game, but I might as well get free new achievements if I am going to play anyway, right?
