Hey Arnold!: The Complete Series (Walmart Exclusive)

Thanks OP! I was rewatching this on Netflix and then they took it off. Pretty sure my local Wal-Mart doesn't have it but I'll check anyway.

I think it's still on Amazon Prime?

Yes they still are on Amazon Prime. They run an episode a night on one of the nick channels at midnight eastern. Such a great show. Wish they would get some of the older Nick stuff on more DVDs.

Solid deal

I never saw the appeal in most Nick shows, but especially this one. I mean Fairly Oddparents/Angry Beavers/Catdog is good for a laugh or two an episode, and Legend of Aang was some of the most brilliant TV I've ever seen, but aside from that and Zim I can't think of a Nick show I actually like.

So I'm curious about what's so special on this show? I don't remember how many episodes I saw of this but I remember thinking it was garbage. I do remember one about some kid who'd never leave his porch....... it was such a moronic premise and they never did anything good with it.

Anyways I'm not about to buy the series on DVD but am mulling over checking it out on Amazon Prime if anybody cares to explain what's so special about this series?

You're in trouble because she mentions Stoop Kid as one of the 10.

If you did not like it when you were younger or it first came out, you probably wont enjoy it now. Some of the cartoons that they replay I find a now cringeworthy but when I was a kid they were good.

For me the show probably just brings back childhood memories. Some of the episodes I flip off but most I keep on. It is very different watching cartoons that you watched as a kid now as a grownup. Its crazy how they change or how you perceive them.

Like I said I dont watch all of them that I use to so I get your feeling, but for me this one still holds up. I can not say what my 12 year old self liked about this show.

Thanks OP, so much nostalgia looking at the package. I found the second to the last copy at my local Walmart. Good deal for ALL 99 episodes. I'll take that on a $18.96 DVD set!

Now only if they will release Rugrats Complete Collection.

A Rugrats Collection would a be dream.

None at my local WM will try another that's 5 miles away

edit: success on 2nd attempt on finding hey Arnold there was 3 in total at that location.

I picked this up at my local Walmart on Friday- I'm shocked they had it at all, much less 5 or 6 copies.  I doubt I'll ever re-watch the show, but I'll give myself the option for the insanely low price of only $19 for 99 episodes.

I'm going to look for this next time I'm at Walmart.

Enjoyed the show as a 90s kid and have been catching some of the episodes on Nick lately.

One of the few Nick shows from that time period that held up in my eyes. Also enjoyed Rugrats and Wild Thornberrys.

Walmart's site only shows ship-to-store. I guess the only way to tell if any of the stores around me have it is to make a trip to them. Would love to grab this for under $20.

Was at Wal-Mart and saw this for the $18.99 or whatever. Almost picked it up but I honestly don't remember enough about this show to know if I liked it or not so I skipped it for now. Good price though!

Are any of you finding this in So-Cal? I've checked a few stores, but haven't found any.

Was out of town, so I checked the Walmart where I was. Didn't see it anywhere, I don't think they even ordered any. I'll have to check my local Walmart next. I really hope they have it.

Checked one of the local Walmarts. Looked around but didn't see it.

Likely going back tomorrow or Wednesday because I want the Sting dvd that's coming out. I'm a sucker for WCW but I refuse to pay $9.99.

Went to my local Walmart and they had it! Only one copy left, $18.96. What is odd is my local Walmart is smaller then the one I went to out of town and the one out of town didn't even order any.

Also while there noticed they have pretty good prices on a lot of box sets. Several volumes of Futurama $10, Married with Children 2 season set $10, Andy Griffith sets $10, Ren and Stimpy season 4 and more or something $10, etc. Nothing I wanted or stuff I already had, but still cool.

Anyway, thanks a ton OP. This was an epic find!

This might be of interest to people reading this topic.  There's going to be a Catdog Complete Series set released on 10/14, also Walmart exclusive.  It is unknown what the price will be, so I didn't want to make a new topic for it just yet.  Probably not as popular as Hey Arnold, but worth a mention I thought.

According to tvshowsondvd.com, it will also be released in December at Amazon (and possibly other retailers). Based on Amazon's listing, the MSPR is $39.99.

Oh nice. And I see Amazon has preorders open for $28. Hoping that Walmart will sell it at a price closer to what Hey Arnold is going for, though.
