Shipping in 1 to 3 weeks isnt in stock.

And how could you not know it hasnt already been posted? There are like 2 other threads on the front page. Not to mention if you searched it would have returned a bunch of other threads on this MSRP "deal"
 
I haven't played the game but it sounds like this game is gonna end up like Titanfall... hyped to all hell but really, just another good MP game with some unique features. 

 
At least they're taking the orders. Yeah...I wish they'd stop over-hyping a lot of games that are more OK; the marketing gets a perfect score though judging by my marketing class curriculum lol. 

 
^Pretty much this. At least w/ Halo people talk about the story, multiplayer matches, etc. Destiny just seems to have hype but no one is actually talking about the game. Though my friends have been playing it and love it. When my X1 comes in I'm going to play it too (got it on launch). We'll see but I already see this being Titanfall.

That was my impression as well. Side note I didn't know there was a quota of positive likes for comments. I was going to give a like to your comment but apparently I hit said quota

No one is talking about it because they are too busy playing the game.

Everyone is trying to get the story missions done, and are busy trying to find gear to tackle the raid which unlocks next Tuesday. You need to be at least level 26 to handle it, and then have a coordinated team with communication. Then there are daily bounties and stories to complete for vanguard marks, which you need a whole lot of to unlock the best gear and weapons from the vendors.

This is just for PvE. I don't know the status of PvP, because I don't have any interest. But concerning PvE, there are plenty of things to do.

 
No one is talking about what makes it good apart from its good coop.

I'm not saying it's bad, just that it is on a Titanfall like hype train.

I swear to god forums in most website are just filled with snobbish members with snobbish comments. I said the PS3 will take 1-2 days to ship so that must mean it's in stock right? Sheesh man.

I (and everyone else) get your point but comments like this must comprise more then 50% of your posting history.

 
The game is a good mix of Borderlands meets Halo. Co-op is a blast. Also, this sounds kind of stupid but it has the best loading screens in any game I have ever seen.

 
People always mention hype, but where was this "hype"? What the hell is "hype"? is an advertisement on television/in a gaming magazine considered "hype"? Burger King must be "hyped" like crazy then. If people talking about it is "hype," then you people are solely responsible for the "hype," so how can you say something is "hyped" too much? Seriously though, what the hell is "hype"? I really hate that word now.  :shame: Stop saying it.

This but at least Destiny sold like gangbusters coming out of the gate.

 
Considering people will were already anointing this as the revolutionary game, I'd say it was overhyped.  I watched a lot of my favorite casters play it on Twitch and 3/4 of them were disappointed and underwhelmed.  The other 1/4 said they liked it but it was nothing special.   I really couldn't blame them.  It looked extremely repetitive.

I think they said it made $500 million on launch day...how did that happen? Honestly? Still I had some fun with the game enough to buy the LE...somewhat grudgingly...but that soundtrack...If that came out officially I'd just buy that to play Star Trek Online to. If you've played STO, you'll know how much that soundtrack isn't any better than a black hole.

Yea great point next year my friend can buy a more complete version with hopefully significantly more content for the same price. I gotta stop playing games on day one because you just suffer from early adopter syndrome.
