Hey guys.

 

At work we had a bidding on stuff that was in the left behind section (Lost and Found) and I happened to win a bid on a Nintendo 3DS LL aka 3DS XL. Its the 3DS from japan.

 

There is a problem though. I cant change the language and I cant play games that are sold in America. Its region locked.

 

What do you guys suggest? Should I just try to sell it on ebay and get a new one from the US? Or just keep it and play japanese games? Are there games that have the option to switch languages? I got this 3DS for free. Any suggestion will work. Please help.

If you're into Japanese games or like having certain games before stateside release, I'd say definitely hang on to it because getting your hands on a japanese 3DS can be kind of a hassle or pretty pricy. Then again, I guess that could work in your favor on eBay or something XP

 

It's old news now, anyway, with the New3DSXL out in Japan.

Yea i understand what your saying. Fighting games would be okay for me. But if i play a rpg with a good story or a game with alot of quests, i wont be able to read the instructions etc. Yes i would love to play the 3ds japanese exclusives but its a hassle for me.
