Hi all;

A friend gave me a few codes of his game Fenix Rage to giveaway, so sharing one of those codes with CAG.

To win the Fenix Rage code for Steam (PC, of course), all you have to do is write a reply and tell me what your favorite platformer of all time is and why. I will choose a winner in a week.

My favorite platformer is Super Mario Bros. 3 I like how it improves on the formula from the other Mario games, as well as add in multiple paths and several secrets. Also the Fred Savage movie The Wizard gave it some really good promotion months before the game was even released.

My favourite platformer is Super Mario Bros. I quite enjoyed all of them, except for Super Paper Mario. I also liked Fez, if you consider that a platformer.

My favorite platformer of all time has to be Donkey Kong Country. It was one of the first platformers I beat as a kid and it was just such an enjoyable game all the way. Also the music is amazing.

Braid. A gem of a game for me. Just the right length of gameplay, just the right difficulty, and just the right simplicity that it's downright a beauty of a game. One to go down for the memory books.

 
Battleblock Theater, the game is Perfectly wacky, Stamper is a great narrator, and honestly, heads are the new thing, so TAKE THAT HATS FROM TF2!
 
Favs definitely have to be Guacamelee n all the Rare platf from the N64 (Banjo, DK, n Conker). Sorry I cant really decide lol, n thanks for the chance. Btw whats ur twitter?
 
Sonic 3 & Knuckles. It is the pinnacle of the Sonic series. The levels are huge and had the perfect balance of platforming + roller-coaster bits, the music is outstanding, and the characters didn't talk (yet).

My favorite platformer is Super Mario Bros. It was my first platformer and I spent many days with my brother playing it in co-op. As we were young when we started, we had a very hard time beating it but the levels were so much fun that we kept playing anyway. We finally went back and beat it last summer, about 15 years after first playing it.

Donkey Kong Country is a very close second.

My favorite is the original Super Mario Bros. because it was the first video game I beat and got me hooked on them

 
My favorite platformer just so happens to be my favorite game of all time, Sonic 2. Everything about it was perfect - the levels had variety and personality, the gameplay was so fast and fluid, and the soundtrack is outstanding. I still listen to it outside the game now.

Super Mario Galaxy. It is platforming perfection. The game contains extreme polish, epic boss battles, and tight controls. The game is long for a platformer and it still doesn't get old. It has a story, but makes it optional for people who don't care about it. The game just does everything right.

Close runner-up: Ratchet and Clank: Going Commando

 
My favorite platformer of all time is Donky Kong County Returns, I know it's very recent and all, but the game feels so tight and it feels so good to finish a level. I also love the level design and the difficulty. I liked the original DKC series on the SNES but I think this game is definitely better and I'm really sad I don't own a Wii U yet to try out Tropical Freeze.

Second place I think it belongs to Super Mario World.

I think Rayman Legends is one of best platformers of all time, even better than Super Mario World.. Charming visuals smooth controls and epic music, all in one package.
