Minecraft for PS3 and Vita are free on webstore through a glitch

I saw this on Neogaf. So here's how it goes. If you "buy" the PS3 demo version and then the Vita demo version and heading back to the PS3 version page and add it to cart, it will show up as free on checkout. I tried it but it doesnt seem to work for me. I see a "try free demo" and I did that for both the PS3 and Vita versions, but when I come back to the PS3 version page, it says 'you are not eligible to buy this'. Can anyone of you guys try this and see if it works and BTW its EU PSN only it seems.

I tried this about 15 minutes ago and it still works. I added both to my cart and "purchased" the demos via SEN, I was then able to purchase the full versions. My account has both the PSVita and PS3 version as "purchased" and I am currently playing on my PS3.

Are you sure it's not the trial version? On my PS3 when I downloaded it showed a 'key' in the picture in its icon on the XMB and there was an unlock full option in the main menu. Looks like I downloaded the trial version instead.
 
Email I received from Sony "thanking me for my purchase" says.

"Minecraft: Playstation®Vita Edition (Full Game)" under details.
To get it I added both demos to my basket, then "purchased them". I think went to the PS Vita page and selected "download" or something similar, in which 3 versions came up. I was able to select the full version.

When I browse the store it reads Purchased next to the PS3 and the PS Vita version.

EDIT: Just played the tutorial on my Vita, got the achievement for chopping wood, it also saved the world.

When u say add both demos to your basket u mean u select the 'try free demo' button underneath the add to basket button?
 
So let me this straight cause I'm on my last EU account to try this. U select try demo and confirm purchase for PS3 version and rinse and repeat for the Vita version. You press back on your browser back to the Vita version page then select add to basket and it will show up as free. The reason I want to be careful is because this is my third attempt.

These are my step by step to get it working.

1. Go to this address:

2. Select Try Free Demo
3. Select Order & Pay
4. Go to this address:
https://store.sonyentertainmentnetwork.com/#!/en-gb/games/minecraft-playstationvita-edition/cid=EP4433-PCSB00560_00-MINECRAFTVIT0000
6. Select Order & Pay
7 Go to this address:
https://store.sonyentertainmentnetwork.com/#!/en-gb/games/minecraft-playstation3-edition/cid=EP4433-NPEB01899_00-TRIALUPGRADE0001
8. You should be able to purchase it for free.

You should now have the PSV and PS3 versions as "purchased" in SEN, if you check on your PS3 you will have the 100kb unlock file and the PSV version will be full when you download.
 

That's what I did. No issues, using my Australian account. I own both a PSV and a PS3 so no idea if that made a difference.

Still not working, when I go back to buy the full version, it still shows up as not eligible for purchase :(
 
So now when I go back to the PS3 page, it just says FREE with the download to your PS3 button greyed out.
 
Oh, if you mean add to download queue, that is just the demo. Not the full game. Although I thought it was the full game at first.

 
Mine was full game unlock. I downloaded and played a little in a friend's world. I previously had the demo with the lock. This version has no lock. I also received an email receipt of my $0.00 purchase. This was after the network came back around 5:30 mountain time.

There's the download to PS3 option below the price. I downloaded the demo a long time ago. You get full game when you have the game and an unlock key added to your download list.

So correct me if I'm wrong. In the US web store, you type Minecraft in the search box and select MInecraft Playstation 3 Edition from the drop down menu and it showed up as Free or $0.00.
 
I was on the store through my PS3. The options were download or try demo. Download had no price. I already own the disc version, that shouldn't matter though.

I was at the store on my PS3 a few seconds ago to try it and it still had a price on it. Maybe the glitch was random and you were lucky to get it.
 
Guys, Please Stop pulling this thread up. Glitch is FIXED and won't work anymore, so either close the thread or let it die.
