Data recovery software?

Does anyone have any recommendations on a data recovery software?

I had a laptop HD that I pulled and turned into a external HD. I stored some DVD rips on it and it seemed to load up fine. That was about 2 months ago and I plug in that HD now and it it doesn't show anything... it wasn't even formatted.

It's nothing important since I still have those DVDs but they're all back at my parents house and I'm gonna be flying tomorrow and was hoping to watch some movies during my flights. And also, I don't wanna re-rip those...

PS- the HD was a Seagate. Figures.

Try R-Studio . I was able to recover a lot of files from my RAID-6 (most recovery softwares can only handle RAID-5).

Truly a life safer.

You'd better google to find the best one. R-Studio is OK.
