Target. Buy 2 Games. Get 1 Free.

I'm just hoping to get Diablo 3 (PS4), Sunset Overdrive and Assassins Creed before it's all gone.

LOL... I'm in Quebec so we're not even threats to each other... still a nice gesture though. :)

I pre-ordered my console games already, will try to get three 3DS games. Would come out to $25 each and I see people trying to sell used copies for up to $30 on Kijiji so that's pretty good!

You can't preorder games right? I'm trying to figure out how to use this deal... :( Probably cant get pokemon in on this

I want fantasy life ( digitally but if I have to I can suffer with the cart ) wasn't very interested in smash but what the heck sure to make use of the deal. Need one more gameeeee.

I was looking at games like Shadow of Mordor, Lords of the Fallen, etc. but that still works out to something like $44.99 + tax per game. Not as good a deal as just waiting.

Then I started looking at cheaper games. Walking Dead & Wolf Among Us seasons are out on physical media now, $29.99 each. If you picked up those three games, it would end up being $19.99 + tax each. Not too bad, but I'm still not super on-board.

I guess if you were 100% going to get a game anyway, it would be worth it to pony up for another game and get a third one at a discount, you know?

This is my train of thought too. Games are around $80 after taxes, so you're still paying close to $160 for 2 games. That's kind of crazy. I'm holding out for Black Friday/ Cyber Monday. Hopefully some good deals on digital games will be on PSN and Xbox Live.

I would have gotten Sunset Overdrive, Shadow of Mordor and Unity. With the high taxes here in Québec, this would be around 54$ per games. Not such a great deal... I would rather buy 40$ here for a digital copy.

So was it busy, did games sell out? I decided to buy the games I wanted from other stores online vs wake up at 6am and go all the way there for 8am opening.

I got there at 8:05 AM... NO ONE WAS THERE !!! Literally had the whole section to myself... picked up what I needed urgently and spent another 10 minutes to find another set of 3 games...

It's very possible that most people thought Target was opening around 9 or 10 like FS/BB, but still...

I have no idea what happened after that, I might take another look tomorrow, as the guy there told me there's a truck coming with more games

As for the quality of the deals... I think it's pretty good for recent releases or product that rarely gets any discounts, like Nintendo games... you might end up with a slightly better deal on Black Friday or Boxing Day, but then again you have to wait to play the games you want

Plus I got some day one (or zero) editions for some games, which is harder to get around BF/BD

Cool, I had planned to show up at 8 but thought better. I wound up spending just under $9 extra to get what I wanted online and make things easier on myself. Although now I have to wait for them to ship.

Went at my local target after lunch. All new releases were still there, but all were $65+. The deal is not so hot at that price point.

I went to the last gen section, but nothing caught my eye there either except for Xillia 2. I still needed two games though, so I passed on it.

Bought some candies tough lol.

Went to three targets in sauga for 2 fantasy life's and smash bros 3ds.

First one was near bus stop, second I called ahead, guy said he had it instock for sure, went there, it wasn't there. :\ called another target and he had 2 left, asked if he could hold it, said isn't sure if he can because of the deal, *meanwhile running between bus stops and targets all this time* I make it in time to get it and still make it on time to work!

Anyone know if all targets do preorders? I saw that they had a $1 pokemon preorder and you get a $5 target gift card?

Scooped up Bayonetta 2 for Wii U and Diablo 3 and Advanced Warfare for PS4 this afternoon at East Side Saskatoon location.  Still decent stock left, but a number of titles sold out.  A lot more available if you're an XBox One owner.
