Just joined the Nintendo handheld world and needing some help from fellow XL owners.

I'm looking for a case that will help protect from minor falls as I have a 3 year old daughter who likes to play games with me and usually like to get the 3DS down and tends to be accident prone.

I'm also going completely physical with my 3DS games so I would like either a case that can hold quite a few cartridges or a case that can have a cartridge case easily stored in the case along with my system.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!

I ended up buying an Insignia Portfolio Case at Best Buy. It fits a 3DS, 3DS XL or a 2DS and up to 8 games (and 16 if you stack two per slot which it is big enough for that). I can also fit a cleaning cloth and my charger in the pocket. For $12, it's pretty good bargain.

Eventually I will buy a City Slicker case from sfbags.com as I've been wanting one for my Vita and I think I'll get both cases in due time as they look amazing and reviews state they are worth the hefty price tag.

I purchased the suede jacket for my XL and so glad that I did. The jacket doubles as a screen cleaner too.

The Cityslicker is great but too much for my needs.
