I think it went live around 10am PST.  But the site had issues during checkout.  Took about 2 hours till it calmed down.

I have enabled the wiki feature for this thread so other CAGs can update the OP. I might not be on CAG when the deals go live.

they had lots of issues last year with early access and also the normal Black Friday sale for everyone else online that there ain't no specific time and the time will be random so expect to stay up all night;

What time on Thursday will you post your Black Friday deals on BestBuy.com?

In order to ensure proper site performance for all of our customers, we will not be announcing a specific start time to our Black Friday deals on BestBuy.com. Please check back often, and be sure to refresh your browser to see the deals when they become available.

So the early access is access to the BF deals? Like the $25 games? Just wondering, if it happens to be ill ask my buddy to buy for me.

Those Surface deals are meh. A computer with the same specs as those tablets would be hundreds of dollars less, and probably come with much bigger hard drives and more ram.

Yes, it should be, unless Best Buy decides to do it differently this year.

There was a very short window that the site worked perfectly-- I was able to grab everything I had on my own list and check out in under 5 minutes. If you have to browse and find things, you're toast. So hint: get a list of SKUs ready for whenever it goes live and just be ready to cut-and-paste and check out fast.

I am hoping for a 10am PST start tomorrow, as usual, and they're just not publicizing it.. I think it's been the same the last few years.

Hopefully they have more of the games than just Diablo. I don't hate this phases thing, less of a mad rush hopefully.

The stuff that's active today was active at 1 AM EST.

With a hi-res touch screen like the Surfaces have?

Couldn't you just add everything you want to your cart in advance and then just checkout once prices change?

Yeah, but I'm sure that was programmed in as part of the weekly sale update/change.

They tend to purge shopping carts when these sort of huge sales start....

Last year I got an email at 7:00 a.m. CST telling me that it was live.  Might have been before then, but I was still able to get all of the things I wanted when I ordered them around 9:00 a.m. CST.

When I bought something the other day it said I was elite plus on the register , but I doubt it. Anywhere to check specifically?

They've hid how much progress you have through the ranks but if you go to the overview page at the very bottom it has the breakdown on the levels and it will say "your status" over the column that you are.

Anyone have input on the Insignia Soundbar? I have a old panasonic that I think could possibly benefit, how is the sound?

Almost everything has a hi-res touch screen these days. My friend's toaster even has one. He can watch Netflix while toasting bagels, the rich bastard.

Doubt it. Not with SSD, touch screen, i5, pure windows, and the excellent build quality. Not to mention a screen with that high of a resolution and the portability of a Pro.

Not at all. Extra mission isn't much content at all

I purchased it last Thursday for its BF price, it should be here tomorrow, so after getting it set up and tried out for a day or so, I'll let you know at least my first impressions...

(And I'm kicking myself because I found out yesterday that BB put up in-store coupons for those Early BF Deals last week, so I could have just went down and picked it up and could have been using it all weekend...ugh)
