Yep, Square-Enix is planning to expand the Theatrhythm brand to Dragon Quest music, with a trailer at next week's Jump Festa. It'll likely end up being Japan-only, since Dragon Quest isn't as big in the US and Europe, and Curtain Call sold poorly in the US.

They can just do a digital release.  There aren't going to be that much text to translate for a game like this.

 
Did Square Enix even market the series? I bought Curtain Call but I didn't even see a single ad for it. It's a good game and it has a chance to be popular.

I grew up loving dragon warrior and never played a final Fantasy game until this year. I bought curtain call based entirely on how much I enjoyed the demo, and love it. I would stand in line on release day for a dragon quest version, and I haven't stood in line for anything since garth brooks came to town in 1997
