Well, next month marks the start of a new year. And you know what that means. More Games. More "controversy". More announcements. More disappointments. And more delays.

Nevertheless, there is a whole slew of games coming out to be excited for. So. Which games are you most excited for? Your list can include announced titles, hopeful titles, etc.

Personally, my most anticipated games are:

1. Persona 5

2. Persona 4 Dancing All Night

3. Metal Gear Solid V: Phantom Pain

4. Bloodborne

5. Halo 5

6. The Last Guardian (I can always hope

2015 is shaping up to be the strongest since 2007, and may even compete with 1998 if Zelda U actually gets released.  I'm so excited for the return of high-profile Japanese-developed releases:

1. Xenoblade Chronicles X (Wii U)

2. Zelda U (Wii U)

3. Persona 5 (PS4)

4. Metal Gear Solid V (PS4)

5. Final Fantasy Type-0 (PS4)

6. Star Fox U (Wii U)

7. Codename STEAM (3DS)

8. Splatoon (Wii U)

9. Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D (3DS)

10. Dragon Quest VII (3DS) if only...

1) Witcher 3

2) Xenoblade Chronicles X (Wii U)

3) Zelda Wii U

4) Final Fantasy Type-0 (PS4)

5) Tales of Zestiria

1. Uncharted 4

2. Xenoblade Chronicles X

3. Zelda U

4. Batman Arkham Knight

5. The Last Guardian (hey, I can dream, can't I?)

Batman Arkham Knight

The Division

Metal Gear Solid V

That's all I can think of off the top of my head.

Man, I still have a pile of stuff to play that came out this year…

But for 2015, my most anticipated games (so far) are:
- Persona 5
- Etrian Mystery Dungeon
- Below

…and I think that's it? There's a small pile of upcoming games I'm looking forward to, but not much confirmed for 2015 and/or English-language release right now.

Persona 5

Uncharted 4

Final Fantasy Type-0

Rise of the Tomb Raider

Street Fighter V

Tales of Zestiria

The Witcher III

Halo 5

Metal Gear Solid V

Still rolling with last-gen so:
1. Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain
2. Rise of the Tomb Raider
3. Mortal Kombat X ; Haven't played a sidescrolling fighter since PS1, I need a demo before buying, but I do like these character designs much better than the last MK designs.

And if I had all gaming platforms, I would add:
• Batman: Arkham Knight
• Dying Light ; Sucks that they canned the last-gen versions.
• Homefront: The Revolution
• Mirror's Edge
• Star Wars: Battlefront ; This might be the game that could force an upgrade.
• The Order 1886
• Quantum Break

Replace Dragon Quest 7 with Witcher 3 and that's my list, I would reorder 3-10 a bit differently but yeah. Number one is Xenoblade and number two is Zelda for Wii U.

  1. MGS V: The Phantom Pain  2. Bloodborne  3. Mighty No.9  4. Zelda Wii U  5. Zelda MM or FF XV if it actually comes out in 2015.

It's crazy how many games I'm excited for coming in 2015.  Tons of indies and a few big AAA titles.  Not really in any particular order, just off the top of my head:

Witcher 3

Mortal Kombat X

The Order 1886

Just Cause 3

Batman Arkham Knight

Rise of the Tomb Raider

Uncharted 4: A Thief's End

Bloodborne

Quantum Break

Crackdown

Hyper Light Drifter

N++

Everybody's Gone to the Rapture

Galak-Z: The Dimensional

Rime

No Man's Sky

Inside

Below

Broforce

Shovel Knight (PS4)

Lifeless Planet

The Vanishing of Ethan Carter

The Witness

No Time to Explain

Grim Fandango Remastered

No way in hell I'll get to all of the games on that list this year, but I'm looking forward to each of them.  I know that a few of the indie games on my list have already come out for PC, but they would never run on my ancient system, so I'm looking forward to the console versions.

Arkham Knight is the only thing I want so far. Fine with me considering my 360 backlog. Might actually get shit cleared out if that's the case since the only other things I wanted came out last month.

Witcher 3

Batman AK

BloodBorne

Uncharted

Halo 5

TombRaider

Quantum Break

Shovel Knight

MGS V: Phantom Pain

Kingdom Hearts

Some of the stuff, I already preordered; I am yet to get PS4 (which is going to be this year, hopefully). So that leaves my backlog nicely balanced. It is still going to be my backlog only with all the above titles added in, at the end of 2015 - since I never finish my games. :)

1. Metal Gear Solid V: Phantom Pain

2. Uncharted 4

3. King's Quest

4. Grim Fandango Remastered

5. Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number

6. Cosmic Star Heroine

7. Day of the Tentacle Remastered

8. The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D

9. The Witcher 3

10. Persona 5

The lack of Splatoon on this thread is worrying...

My top 5
1. SPLATOON
2. Zelda U
3. Uncharted 4
4. Xenoblade Chronicles X
5. Majora's Mask 3D

If I had a Wii U, Splatoon would've been on my most anticipated games, along with Zelda U, Xenoblade Chronicles X, and Star Fox U

I like to believe that Yokai Watch will come to the West eventually and be a major thing.
