Looking for a good single-player (non-video) game...

Not sure if this is the right place to post/ask this, but it seems like the best location.

So finding Christmas/Birthday gifts for my girlfriend is always difficult.  She's not a gamer and has no interest in video games (the only thing she uses her Wii for is playing Zumba games.)  She's a tomboy, with no interest in the type of gifts that females would stereotypically want (clothing, jewelry, makeup/perfume, etc.)  She's not technologically-inclined (she doesn't own a cellphone and still uses her VHS more than her DVD player.)  And she doesn't read books or collect movies (you could count her DVDs on one hand and she still thinks she has too many...)  So yes, very tough to buy for...

I'm thinking a good gift for her would be a non-video game (for example, board games.)  She always had fun playing her '80s Scene-It (she loves the 80s.)  I thought about getting her Cards Against Humanity, but you need a group of people to play it (not even just two people can play it), and since she lives some 30 miles away from me and most of her other friends, getting a group of people around at one time is difficult for us.

So does anyone know any good single-player, or two-player non-video games?  Naturally, Solitaire and any other card games are out, because really, a deck of cards does not make a good Christmas present.   :)

Thanks.

Wow, sounds like the perfect woman. Maybe it shouldn't be a game you should be getting her. How about thinking outside of the box for this, like dancing lessons, skydiving, a trip out of your city? A great experience you both can share?

Thanks for the suggestions.  I did end up finding her a game that I think she will enjoy.  It is only one present of several that I will be giving her.  :)  I believe she already has a Simon and a Rubik that she most likely got in the 80s.  :)

I think so, Conan.  At least 95% perfect.  ;)  I would love to do more outside of the box things, but she's the type who needs everything to be equal.  In other words, if she's not going to spend more than, say, $50, then I can't spend more than $50.  She doesn't even let me take her out to dinner because paying for her wouldn't be equal.  I do look forward to the day when she goes on a trip with me, though, she loves travel.  She's been to Hawaii, Caribbean, all over Europe.  I'm the one who can't afford even the cheapest of those places.  :(

Actually, Conan, that's something I have in mind for her fourth present.  :)  I might otherwise agree with you Keith, if not for the fact that we play that every night anyway.  :)
