Killzone is regular $19.99 now. I wouldn't call that a sale. All in all, Boxing Day is a bust this year. No one has anything worth lining up for.

 
My no1 boxing day annoyance is still no deals on Yoshi's New Island. Almost every other ds game has been 19-25$ this past year but not that one.

As of a few minutes ago Wolfenstein new order is $24.99, which is a great price.  Unfortunately by the time I get around to playing it it will probably be $20 anyways.  Still have the 1st one in shrink wrap!

 
I don't really consider any game worth lining up for.  But in terms of games worth sniping if you have the opportunity, so far the only one I've seen has been Shadow of Mordor for $30 at Target.

 
I bought the new wolfenstein game for $24.99 along with Transporter 3 movie to get free shipping ( the movie was $9.99 )  but i need it for my movie collection.   then i go to EB's website and low and behold .. $24.99 for wolfenstein there too -_-

and yet again no places have LBP3 for PS3 for $39.99   all these deals on next gen games when PS3 games are getting the shaft when i thought it would be the other way around !      i wonder what games will be 30% - 50% off at futureshop for PS3 tho ... probably nothing interesting.

question for those with the Mordor game. ( preferably on PS3 )  is it any good ?  is there any issues with it ?   i heard one of the game play elements in the game is much better on PS4 then PS3 and makes it worth getting it on PS4 then PS3.    i forgot what it was.  Can anyone chime in ?

 
Taken a look at Amazon.ca's deals, and, yeah, pretty underwhelming. Hopefully they add to the sale list. Has anyone looked at what WM/BB/EB/TRU have for sale? Anything at good value? 

Anyway. Lukie Games (specializes in non-current gen games/retro games) are having a sale on... pretty much everything, really. Worth a look at their site if you're in the market for older titles or classics. I thought it was interesting just to browse, considering the current boxing day sale on new stuff seems disappointing.

Those aren't really deals though. Majority of retailers have most of these games for the same prices, and Far Cry will hit $19.99 sooner or later because it's a Ubisoft game.

I'd be amazed if people actually rush out today.

@ dtrader69 - sorry, man, that wasn't directed at you. I was just saying in general of what is likely this year's Boxing Day offerings. I was expecting better savings, and atleast some more noteworthy deals on Nintendo, Atlus, etc. titles. But you're right, it does depend what you're in the market for.

On an semi-unrelated note, I find it kinda funny that the PlayStation blog published this "Tips and Tricks for your new PS Vita" article in light of Christmas. What new PS Vita? Consumers don't buy regular priced all the fucking time shit as gifts. Nintendo's 3DS checklist email that went out over the past day makes a hell of a lot more sense.

The PS3 doesn't take advantage of the benefits of a SSD. It won't improve load times so there's really no point in installing such a small drive.
