Quick question

I have 1T WD passport portable hard drive 3.0. Can I use this on my wii u for extra storage? Do I need to buy y cable? PLEASE HELP Me OUT thanks

You probably won't use anywhere near that much space, but that should work. My 500GB WD USB 3.0 works fine. I would get a y cable, though. Mine worked without one up until I started putting retail games on it.
