Import, It is not currently available. But is able to be ordered. So must mean they are getting some stock shortly, or have gotten returns. Buy one while you can since we don't know if we are ever gonna see another shipment, due to this special of a adapter.

If these are PAL I do not think they will work on an NA system

People on a website on google said that they where using american adapters on european consoles, so it should work?

Multiple searchs on google tells, me these are not region locked. As far as my knowledge you can not region lock any wired hardware, that includes USB.

I didn't post it there because, I thought a lot of people whould be bring them to the states. But if a mod want's to move it go ahead.

there been numerous people saying that a restock of these are coming within a week and GameStop having adaptor bundles in stock right now is probably a sign of that which mean if that true then by the time people bought this and waited the two weeks or more for delivery there a good chance the restock here will have already happened and be cheaper to
 
Amazon Prime apparently doesn't carry over, at least mine doesn't. Wonder if it's because I'm technically using Student Prime.

Edit: Yup. Prime doesn't apply for international shipping over there. Just tried by signing up for the trial. No go.

Pretty sure its not just student prime. I have a regular one and order things from other Amazon sites, (Germany and Britain) and never get "prime" shipping. I bet it would cost a lot to get 2 day delivery from another continent....

 
Heads up to everyone just be patient more stock in the US is coming

Nintendo of America has promised to restock the Wii U Gamecube Controller Adapter as well as the Super Smash Bros. branded GameCube controller.

According to a spokesperson for the company, Nintendo is doing the best it can in terms of ensuring that more adapters will be coming. The full statement is as follows:

“Both the Super Smash Bros. Edition Nintendo GameCube Controller and the Adapter that connects it to the Wii U console remain in distribution in the North American region. Nintendo of America is doing everything we can to meet the strong demand for these products, and additional stock will be made available and delivered to retailers. We ask consumers to contact their local retailers directly regarding availability.”

yea I bought it back in March for $20 new cause pikmin series games always go OOP fast dating back to GameCube period. I bet all those people who owned it and traded it in for the free digital version during the mario kart 8 promo are kicking there' self right now

If you read my previous post, Amazon Prime on Amazon France doesn't work for international orders. I already have Student Prime on my account, but went so far as registering for a 30 day trial of prime on amazon.fr just to make sure it wasn't that - nope. It's listed under the shipping restrictions that free shipping over $35 (or whatever it is) and Amazon Prime don't apply to international orders.

yes all retailers will get them. I guess everyone forgot when the ps4 camera was supposedly rare and discontinued and all the sudden GameStop had more in stock at a markup price and then less then 2 weeks later everyone had the camera in stock. The point that GameStop has all these different adapters bundle at a markup price all the sudden is following in that same footstep

Huh interesting. Did GS negotiate stock earlier than the other retailers or did they just withold stock to rip people off for $10?

They were probably withholding some stock due to the fiasco that occured from all other competitors receiving little to no stock, but hey Nintendo said there's more stock coming so I would wait, its not like Nintendo is going to shoot Smash into the Moon, right?
 
This thing still really baffles me. Why would someone pay $25 for a gadget that only works with one game? Even the DK Bongos at least worked with three Gamecube titles (Four in Japan.)
