[Steam] How to Survive (90% off - $1.49)

The Steam Thread is a good place to start.

It's not on the front page of Steam because it was yesterday's Daily Deal (they last for 48 hours now).

Ehh, I'd kind of prefer it if people posted steam deals this way, instead of a thread with a un updated OP. Mr Ninja Squirrel did a great job, but it's time to let go.

I made that argument when the Steam thread was created years ago, but that ship has sailed.

It's a nice thread, but I agree it's hard to be aware of deals if the thread title is never updated. Maybe someone will start a new one and keep it updated.

Whats the chances this will be a Games with Gold or PS Plus in the near future? I have enough to play right now but $2 is hard to pass up. I just hate buying something then having it go free on another platform I have...lol.

Oh boo hoo. $1.49 lost -_-

Figures it would die right before I found out about it. Sigh... Time for some Simon and Garfunkel to cheer me up.

I am just a poor boy

Though my story's seldom told

I have squandered my resistance

For a pocket full of mumbles

Such are promises...

Then the front page would be clogged with steamdeals because there is always a bunch of stuff on sale or cheap. Doesnt mean they are good just because they are cheap. Mods would have send stuff to the graveyard constantly as well as they expired.

Besides, why have a bunch of steam threads when you can have one handy dandy spot where you click it, check the OP and your done? Thats like saying everytime bestbuy puts out their weekly add we need a individual thread for every single item on sale in it.

The OP doesn't get updated. It depends on one person and if that person is not around or not willing, well...

CAG is not really a great place to find PC digital deals. It is (in that Steam thread) a decent place to hang out and shoot the shit with Steam game players collectors and then maybe find out about deals occasionally when someone posts them in the thread among the discussion if you are a regular and follow the thread.

Otherwise go to Reddit Game Deals, or Cheap Shark or IsThereAnyDeal.

It's worth noting that IsThereAnyDeal does let you set price alerts and get notifications and Steam itself should send you emails if something on your wishlist is on sale, so if there's a game you have your eye on there, wishlist it.
