What was Cheapy's fix to the vita's 3.35 firmware airplane mode wierdness?

Haven't touched my vita until just recently to let gf use on her trip, i set it to airplanemode, demo'ed a few tittles off the ram, and each one would load for a brief moment, game for about 1min, and freeze. Each rom works just fine! it was then that i remembered about 4 CAGcasts ago, that Cheapy had this problem.

What's the fix?
