Normally I would too, but this is low enough for me to go ahead and bite, and then just wait for the 50% sales on the Criterion one when that comes out. Since seeing this I've bought the Criterion editions of his other movies, except Fantastic Mr. Fox. The only one I had seen before Budapest was Moonrise Kingdom, which I kinda hated, so I was surprised I liked this so much and it turns out I actually do like most of his movies.
it might be his most thoughtful film. it does tend to divide people who are generally fans of his other filmes.
I just thought the kids were too consciously "precious" and it came across as an embodiment of everything negative I've ever heard about Wes Anderson. I only liked the parts with the adults, which were pretty few and far between. But, as I said, since seeing GBH, I've been watching his other stuff and like it quite a bit, though I'm not sure what's up with the massive following The Life Aquatic has. It's good, but not amazing.moonrise kingdom dislike...boo.
I'm not sure if your confusing Amazon with BestBuy but BBY has a separate promotion movies that have been nominated, the movie almost pays for itself.
it's not the lowest it's been actually. It was once priced at $6.99 at Best Buy. This was during the fall of last year...
