Some devs just need to realize their four plus year old games are bundle fodder... and, quite frankly, was bundle fodder on the day it was released.  Don't get into bed with a publisher and then bemoan it years after the fact if they devalue your game.  Your game would be devalued, anyway.  Unlike art (paintings, sculptures, etc.) videos games do not appreciate with time.  They depreciate.  Rapidly.

Go make another game to generate revenue instead of desperately clinging to the same game years and years after its release.

By the same token, if you DO decide to bundle your game, don't come back later and throw a pity party over how it's devalued and now there's grey market keys and yadda yadda.  It's not 2012 any longer, everyone has known what happens to bundled games for over ten years now.  Plus, no one is going to G2A to buy your shitty four year old indie game anyway.

$13.47 for Age of Wonders Planetfall and all the DLC/Season Pass

Am I missing something here or is this just a rare great deal on a Paradox published game?

I didn't get a chance to try it on Gamepass when it was there but always knew I was going to buy it eventually.

It's a decent price. The game was bundled in a Humble Monthly I believe. I'm not sure if the game is awesome or not.

A couple of freebies on Indiegala (direct download, no Steam key).

Age of Steel Recharge

https://freebies.ind...-steel-recharge

World's Dawn

https://freebies.ind...om/world-s-dawn

World's Dawn is my pick since it's a Harvest Moon/Stardew Valley farming sim.  Keyboard only though from what I've read.

If you want the DLC it is a great deal, yes.  I picked it up myself.

Works for me...  Hopefully I get to it.  (I've been doing better.)

Anyhow, the game I've been playing the most of late, TheHunter Call of the Wild, released dogs this week.  Its a bloodhound, so it tracks blood from wounded animals.  Its sort of useful, but at the same time, other dogs would have been more useful.  Like a retriever for ducks and birds that I shoot but cannot find without a ten minute search.  Sadly, they released it before a holiday and dropped in a bug that mislabels Bronze as silver, silver as gold, and gold as platinum.  (It doesn't really change the gameplay but your stats will be inflated quite quickly.  I have a 130 hours and have killed two platinum.  Probably 50 golds.  So, yeah, quite the boost.  No hope of a fix as they departed for the long holiday weekend.  Which is great!  I just question why release this now?   (Their track record of non bug releases isn't that great btw.)

All thats fine as Outriders released this week.  I'm enjoying it but getting my ass kicked.  The world tier climbs as your character levels... which you can turn down but it also gives big bonuses so I've been really stubborn too reduce it.  I like the system, its really well done, and the auto looting should be looked at by any loot games in the future.  Still enjoying the story.  There's something about humans just being our own worst enemy that I'm drawn too.  (Looks like I might have been suffering really bad RNG.  I got my first epic and Its become much easier to handle but you still have to play smart.)

Off topic...  The new Godzilla vs Kong movie is out.  It looks awesome but whats not so awesome...  Why isn't the original King Kong vs Godzilla movie not up for sale digitally anywhere?  (seems like someone dropped the ball big time.)

Thanks.  I noticed that the game Salt is on sale for $1.49 on Steam.  I've had it on my wish list for about a year, and Isthereanydeal confirms that this is the game's lowest price.

Also, Steel Rats is free on GOG now as well (it was already free on Steam).

Thanks.

They're looking to fund Salt 2 through Kickstarter so I fully expect Salt to end up in bundles sooner or later.

I’m really enjoying Outriders ... way more engaging for me than something like Gears of War or Anthem because it has a little bit of a Mass Effect rpg feel to it. Being able to talk with people and read back story through journals helps flesh out the world and the loot drop mechanic makes it feel a bit like Diablo. Overall I could see myself getting really hooked to this game, the start was a bit rough but as you level up and get more powers I can see it being pretty awesome.

I used to be obsessed with Binding of Isaac Rebirth but I feel like the game has become shittier with each new expansion. I was going to pass on the latest one but I went to the Steam store page and saw the new bundle and they suckered me in with this amazing deal:

Buy this bundle to save 0% off the 1 items you don't yet have!

Can't say no to that!

I like some of the new items but the new balance is bad for sure. Some guys feel way too tanky on hard and the shot speed is kind of ridiculous for some enemies when Binding of Isaac movement is floatier cause it's an old game. There is some big negatives that they need to release a balance patch for. I actually had a win or 2, but it required getting ridiculous items, which usually before I can get by OK and maybe not win on crappier items, but yeah not amazing. I'll give my mini impressions of it, Hadean Tactics and Arcanium soon. I believe that's all the EA rogue-lite games I have, so I'm not buying anymore!

Kudos to Fanatical. It wasn't their fault but they stepped in anyway to resolve the issue.

As for the moronic devs who thought revoking keys from paying customers was a good way of sticking it to the publisher, I think I speak for everyone when I say:

Dorfromantik, which sounds like it should be a hentai game about Gimli, is a pretty good and relaxing puzzle game.  You have tiles with things like homes, farm fields, train tracks, rivers, and forests and you put them down and try to make chains of the same type of tile while also matching anything random that is on the side of your tile.  You might have a farm field on one side and a train track on the other, and you want to try to connect that farm field to another one if you can along with connecting the track to a series of tracks.  You lose when you run out of tiles and you get more tiles for finishing little challenges that sometimes come with the tiles, I am not sure what else gets you more tiles.  I have been playing in 20 minute sessions (basically until I fail) so I haven't went very far but it is very chill and you can quit and resume later if you have a good run going.  I haven't figured out enough about the mechanics yet to know how to make a game go very long.

If anyone wants to test drive the game, the alpha build was part of the itch.io racial justice bundle last summer. I played it in my quest to play through all the games and found it pretty fun.

I was able to snag the new midnight black 6800xt from AMD this morning and now I'm on the fence about what to do with it.

I'd love to keep it and but it would require a whole system rebuild at this point. My i5 2550k is already a bottleneck for my 1060, I'd hate to waste the performance of anything better.

Then the devil appears on my shoulder and searches completed auctions on eBay, coming back at 1200-1500. That's hard to turn down and would help with new system costs (if gpus ever return to earth).

If I do decide to keep it what's a good mid range processor to pair with it? I've heard good things about the 10700k and 3700 ryzen but I haven't done much research

If you can find a good deal on an Intel 10th gen i5/i7 or the 10850k/10900k 10 core models ($250-350) that is probably your best bet. The cheap midrange route would probably be the new i5-11400 at $185 avg. price.

AMD wise, well if you can find one for MSRP, the 5600X is probably the best option speed wise, its the only new mid range option from them and its $300 MSRP. AMD is the top dog performance wise in most things so they're pricing them as such.

3700X is a good cpu but its not worth its old MSRP of $329. They were going for $270 last summer. Thats if you can find one. The most available of the new AMD cpus is the 5800X, 8core/16thread that is $450 and way too overpriced.

Can’t say I’m super disappointed ... kind of seems like they reskinned Dishonored and melded it with a FPS roguelike. Don’t get me wrong, I’ll probably try it but the previews made it feel very familiar.

They should delay for ten years and work on Arx Fatalis 2, instead.
