Always a hilarious display of stupidity when games are pulled games from digital storefronts with no warning, instead of telling people and getting those sweet

I love the "fuggit, we're losing the license in 2 days, here it is for $1" sales. I bet something like the Jump Force, with Shonen characters, has a stipulation to specifically not do that, though. Japanese companies are notorious for price lockdowns (see Nintendo).

Still Q2 for me. I sold a bunch of rarer games from my collection, my PS4 Pro, and some other stuff from the closet and bought a lot of those 15% off GameStop gift cards. Then I combined them with rewards coupons for Steam Bucks.
I have enough in my wallet to cover the system plus tax and shipping now, so just ready to fire when able.
I think shipping is supposed to be included in the cost already

Been playing God of War on Steam this morning and it's a great port. Only hard part is choosing between the Ultrawide and the OLED:

1. Is it worth buying before delisting
2. Is the Ultimate Edition worth spending a dollar or two more over the Deluxe Edition?
3. Does the Ultimate Edition include all DLC or is there more DLC needed to own the complete game?
Thanks in advance

If you got the space and room - maybe put the screens next to each other and duplicate the display to show on both monitors?

Ultimate just comes with some extra manga shirts and the first character pass. I wouldn't say the shirts are essential, even for people that like cosmetics. It doesn't include all of the DLC, it's missing the 2nd character pass and the preorder dlc which contains better cosmetics than what the ultimate edition has.Couple Jump Force related questions -
1. Is it worth buying before delisting
2. Is the Ultimate Edition worth spending a dollar or two more over the Deluxe Edition?
3. Does the Ultimate Edition include all DLC or is there more DLC needed to own the complete game?

If you don't care for cosmetics then grab deluxe + 2nd character pass. If you want absolutely everything then grab Ultimate + 2nd character pass + pre-order dlc. The preorder dlc is a DLC only available via steam I think, and it's kinda hidden
EDIT: Jump Force Ultimate Edition is almost the same price as deluxe on humble so I would get that anyway

Thanks to my side work as a naked maid I've finally made enough money to renovate the outhouse.

I repaired my Alienware Alpha today. I hadn't used it since October 2020. It wouldn't boot up because it was getting the "yellow light of death" which is a well-known problem among Alpha and Steam Machine owners. But I ordered a new CMOS battery from Amazon, did a tear down, installed the battery, and it seems to be working good as new!

Stop me if you've heard this before... Nvidia thinks GPU will lessen in the back half of the year with the release of the RTX 40 series.
https://www.tomshard...ease-in-2h-2022
I could see some justification for this since it's on a different node than the 3000-series Ampere cards. And Nvidia has supposedly locked down a lot of TSMC's fabs for this. But the only way you'd flood the market to bring prices down would be if they were selling 3000 cards off the 8nm fabs at the same time which won't happen.
I guess you won't see a bunch of people rushing to fire sale their old cards before the 4000 series drops though.

So... GPU prices will normalize in... 2034? Also Outriders is $18 on Fanatical. Dunno if that's a good price or not. Looks like a standard pop-a-mole over-the-shoulder shooter despite the hype.

Looks can be deceiving. In practice, it's very much not a cover-based shooter, despite the mechanic being in the game. If you play defensively, you'll get shredded in the end game, unless things have drastically changed since the last major update. It's very much a "the best defense is a good offense" game. Despite that being counter to my typical style, I enjoyed it in co-op.

I rode out my GTX 980 build for 6 years, so my RTX 3070 prebuilt from 2021 should last me until at least 2026. Maybe by then the prices will finally be normal-ish... or maybe we'll all be dead by then
