Shift extend was its own stand alone physical release after shift. No upgrade dlc to it exists.

Side note: arcades have cp extend which probably will get its own physical release on consoles. But idk.

Eh, sure, I guess. I dunno, I think waiting on fighting games is kinda dumb unless you wait for the first main revision and then don't buy any more. Otherwise you're just going to end up waiting forever.

I never bought any Blazblue past Calamity Trigger, and didn't buy anything after SSF4. Don't regret it. That business model is so fucked in this time of easily available digital expansions, which at least Capcom tried to do with AE and Ultra.
 
any chance of the LE coming back in stock for ps3? I got one copy but dont want to open it since they sold out before i could snag a 2nd. Id rather get this for ps3 than ps4 despite having a ps4 since i dont think theres really a ny difference between the two other than running at 720p vs 1080p right?

If you just want one to not open, you could get a PS4 one and then just open the PS3 one? I mean unless they're different or something.

I'm pretty sure there's a lot of other games in stock as well

...you ever wonder maybe a topic was made for specific members, like those that play fighting games and shop at BB considering they have GCU so they wouldn't have to pay full price at other stores? well i'm that person along with others here that appreciate this topic.

The game's been out of stock at BBY for a while. Apparently they only got a few copies and they sold out immediately. I myself was planning on getting it from there so I could use GCU but they never had it in stock anywhere in the city so I just ended up buying digital.

I wouldn't have even bothered checking for the PS4 Limited Edition again on BB's site because it was sold out for a while. Thanks to you all for the heads up.

I got this game on release but haven't really gotten into it yet 'cause I need a stick for my PS4 :\.

Game is nasty to play on the crappy DualShock D-Pad.

is the ps4 d pad that bad? Played the hell out of the old ones on the dreamcast d pdad and PS1 dpad and didn't have much issues. I got a nice blazblue limited edition fightpad for the ps3 so thats cool, but i dont recall the ps1 having a bad dpad for this

now doing it on an xbox controller, thats horrid

 
Wow, most iterations of this game have been really limited in print, is there really that small of a following for this game?  Not big on fighters at all, but I still look out for them.  If there's another print, I'll consider biting at MSRP (through GCU rather).  Not reprinting though might be a mistake though because a lot current previous gen adopters have yet to jump to current gen and may want this once they do make the jump.

It seems to me that if there is enough of the demand... they may as well release another iteration of the game instead in the form of a complete edition later on down the line.

Frankly, I think all the dualshock d-pads are overrated. The Xbox One's d-pad is better. It gives more feedback. The directions feel independent of each other.

The dualshock's d-pads are fine for most games, but GG:XRD has some inputs with really low leniency... so I don't find it adequate. I really need a stick for this one.

I get that's its nice for those who want it. But a deals site is a weird place to want to know if best buy has something in stock.

huh, well to each their own, but i've NEVER heard anyone ever say they actually prefered the xbox dpad to ps one. In fact the xbox dpad is pretty much universally hated as being terrible. Thats why they tried that transferable one on the 360

by the way, do ps3 fight sticks work with ps4? I got the limited edition blazblue fightpad for ps3 would like to use that on ps4 if i could

The Xbox One's d-pad shouldn't even be compared to the 360's. The 360's is absolute trash.

Some games will allow PS3 sticks to work with PS4, but I believe right now that's only Skullgirls. I may be wrong, though.

Unfortunately not. Apparently, there's a way to make it work via a Cronus Device, but it requires having a PC available at pretty much all times, and seems like a lot more trouble than it's worth.

If playing with a fight stick is important to you, you should probably just pick up the PS3 version. The graphical differences aren't that extreme, you can turn on performance priority to avoid frame drops, and you can play with anyone who has the PS4 version. As far as I know, the only thing you're really missing out on by having the PS3 version is the ability to use the Share function built into the PS4.

Either way, this game is great and people should play it.

Mad Catz is making new sticks that work on both PS3 & PS4.

Ah, well i was talking about the 360 vs ps3 mostly. I havent even touched an XB1 controller. Own almost every system from NES era up but dont have an XB1 and dont plan on gettin one realy. I really thought you were advocating the 360 controller, heh. I was just like... wtf?

Damn thats too bad. I didn't get much use outa it but its a nice ass fight stick. I DO have the ps3 version, but its the LE. And id rather not open that one since it seems harder to find than the PS4 version. I may just wait for a price drop then pick up a regular standard version to actually open and play. I do wonder how much better the ps4 looks vs the ps3. If the ps3 is a bit pixely and PS4 is smooth or what. Id love to see them side by side

and i wish people would stop fucking bitching when people post stuff thats getting hard to find/oos getting restocked at some retailers. Christ. Im sure the 3 seconds you took to look at the post was such a hassle, but this deal was useful to a lot of people so quite your bitching. Jeeze, the title even mentions that its just back in stock. Sorry i complained about a thread in the video games deals section not actually being a deal,when you see a thread labeled guilty gear xrd in a video game deals section you expect a deal on guilty gear xrd.Got my hopes up for a actually deal on xrd in a video game deals section but it was just for regular price.This thread should be some where else because regular price is not a deal.

 
the thread title says 'in stock' not on sale, or anything. A little reading comprehension is a good thing. I guess the extra half a second to read the entire thread title was a bit too much for you? Way better to spend a few minutes typing out a post complaining about it, right?

Its becoming hard to find the LE so finding it in stock, especially at a place where people regularly get 20% off IS a deal. If you dont like it fine, but quit bitching about it. I guess that looonnggg ass Majoras mask 3ds XL thread should be deleted too right? I mean thats MSRP too, so a thread about getting ahold of a LE that sold out in minutes is a waste of everyone's time because, hey, its MSRP, fuck it right? May as well throw out the collectors edition thread and anything else that is MSRP i guess.
