Monster Hunter Bundle EBGames Exclusive: $259.99
I guess I can't post any links yet.
I'll mention the  Majoras Mask Special edition XL too, but it sold out in under an hour. FML.

Really hoping Best Buy/Futureshop or Amazon throw up preorders soon...

EDIT: ITS ON AMAZON NOW GO GO GO!!

At least the Majora's Mask N3DS is not retailer specific, so I'm betting it won't be terribly tough to find eventually. Monster Hunter on the other hand is EBgames only, so you'll definitely want to preorder it.

I probably shouldn't have skipped today's ND, huh...

I'm not even feeling this Majora's Mask N3DS, honestly. But I was interested in the Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate one. I mean, let's face it, that's all anyone's REALLY going to want to use the new c-stick and shoulder buttons for, not Zelda.

I'm happy the Majora's Mask one is black on the inside at least and not gold. And yes, the Monhan one is quite beautiful in person.

I told myself I wouldn't get a 3ds of any sort until a Majora's Mask one of some kind. It's just a happy coincidence that it's a new 3DS as well. Now to just tirelessly wait for Best Buy or Future Shop to put it up...assuming they do.

You guys do realize EB still takes pre-orders instore for the Zelda one right?
Yes, they continued doing pre-orders in store until about 4:00 pm PST today. Now they're done. Monster Hunter one is still available. Doesn't seem to be a very popular bundle.

Hm, going to call up my local EB in the morning to make sure. Majority of the people buying the Zelda XL are scalpers.

Yeah, at $0.85 I can't even complain about the price. I was hoping they'd settle at $219.99, but oh well.

Our dollar was terrible, even before the gas prices went down.

If I remember correctly, the other Zelda 3DS's weren't retailer exclusives, yet were still hard to find. Scalpers will make them hard to find, as always.

Retailers need to limit these Limited Editions to 1 per person, as this is getting ridiculous.

Imstead of retailers restricting one per customer, Nintendo should release more than enough to saturate the market.

Agreed.

Come to think of it, I never even care that the product I buy is a limited edition... doesn't make it more valuable to me...

I'm just glad I preordered the MM edition because I'm a fan and I like how it looks... even if they sell 99 millions more it won't change my perception of it

Limited editions are for assholes

Nintendo probably sees things like the Wii U non-deluxe and 2DS being released and sitting on shelves for months and months at retailers, then getting an ear full from them that they can't move their product. So now they're being very tight with production. It's certainly one of the reasons we're not receiving the regular N3DS in North America. It sucks for us that they've gone very conservative now, but I can theorize why they would do it.

Majora's Mask system should not be tough to find. It's not retailer exclusive, so while it might sell out around launch, I bet we'll see more. Monhan will be tough to find after launch, given it's an EBgames exclusive and they're most likely not producing a ton for a niche (but great, play it!) series.

They're limited edition for a reason. Either way, people shouldn't be allowed to buy them in bulk.

Scalpers are the ones who ruin Limited Editions. There's nothing wrong with them. People enjoy collecting these things.

Ocarina of Time 3DS, Link Between Worlds XL. Both weren't retailer exclusive, and were never to be seen again.

Really. Seemed like it was up for more than 2 minutes. Might be sold out now though. :(

Got my order confirmation...but we'll see.

BB had 69 units when I clicked on the pre-order button, when I clicked on the submit order it was sold out. Tried my luck with FS they didn't have the system up on their site yet, maybe after 5 minutes after BB was sold out. FS had 50 units when I clicked the pre-order button. Then a crazy thing happen it was asking for my billing/payment info, then I was omfg. I type it all in, hit submit it went through. I went back to check the stock number, 1 unit remaining, hit refresh sold out.

Nice! Congrats. Hopefully they have more for everyone else. Gotta hand it to FS and BB though, they limited it to one per person. Will Walmart have them as well?

They were originally planning on having it 3 per person, apparently, but changed their mind. One popped open on FS, I managed to get it in my cart, and now it's just sitting there...sold out again...mocking me.

But as a plus, if one pops open again I've got a chance.

I got A Link Between Worlds 3DS at walmart last year. I assume that TRU and Walmart will have them available in store.

This is insane. At this rate, I'll never be able to complete my collection of Zelda 3DS's. I'm actually hoping now, that EB gets more in stock by chance. I want to do their trade in promotion.

I've gone to Walmart and Toys R Us several times, no stock of the ALBW XL at all. Majority of retailers have stopped selling it by now.

Bestbuy will supposedly restock some maybe. Apparently they went over their orders and found people that got multiples in, and booted them down to 1. No way to know how much stock they freed up, or if they've already tossed them up.

Here's some hope for you, bro: http://www.play-asia.com/new-nintendo-3ds-xl-majoras-mask-edition-paOS-13-49-en-70-8hx9.html

They said they'll be opening pre-orders soon, but I'm not really sure when.
Knowing them, it will be about $280+. The MH4U bundle is $371 CAD before taxes. I'm going to check out Microplay tomorrow.

Ugh, people sometimes.

I've been seeing that people have been reporting fail rates on order confirmations with Nintendo products, being that I've never pre-ordered anything before, are they common? Given that the pre-orders for the limited editions sell out so fast, I'm a little worried. Maybe I'm just being paranoid though.

It's only been happening with the Majora's Mask XLs from what I've seen. Stores not limiting one per customer doesn't help much either. Seeing how majority of the people are buying these in bulk, just to later resale at insane prices.

Thank fuck I live in a black hole in the middle of Southern Ontario, I managed to pre-order the Zelda one the day after they went up for pre-order. Living in a shithole middle-of-nowhere town has it's advantages sometimes!

I gave up on grabbing any of the limited editions, and just pre-ordered the normal New 3DSXL.

This Saturday14 in Ontario, Real Canadian Super Store have a No Tax event. You can save as much as $36 in taxes if you buy the New 3DS XL and the Zelda game together.

So there's a slim chance I may get one, if I can trade in my day 0 ambassador 3DS with no issues.

Now, if I was going to trade in for a new one and do the transfer at EB Games, and I have about 12 gb worth of content on my current 3DS on a 16 gb SD card. I have a spare 32 gb micro I would use in the New 3DS and a SD card adapter.

So my first step would be change my current 16 gb SD to the 32 micro using an adapter using my PC (same way I upgraded the original 2 gb card to the 16 gb that's in it now) before going to EB, and when it comes to the system transfer, I only have to transfer the license from my current 3DS to the new one, then I'll be able to pop the 32 micro into the NEW 3DS with no issues.

Or am I wrong?

Luh-oving the reviews for Majora's Mask N3DSXL on Amazon
Never mind not gonna get one, I only go by amazon reviews, as they're for the people, by the people.

You're not going to get a N3DSXL now? I'm confused. Those reviews are based on the people angry that people are scalping the Majora's Mask XL.

This guide might help with the system transfer business.
If you are actually using a micro-SDHC card in your old 3DS (with an adapter) and want to keep using that same memory, then select No and the process below will be slightly different (easier, actually) as you'll be replicating the simple act (at the right time) of letting the systems process before simply moving your card into the New system.

Though the prompts will be different, the process should actually be simpler, as you won't be required to move files onto a PC and then onto a new card. Follow the prompts for a limited wireless transfer between the two units and, only when told to do so, switch both machines off and move the micro-SDHC across to the New Nintendo 3DS. This is far more reminiscent of the original System Transfer process.

Thanks....I couldn't imagine sitting in the store with those cretans for 15-20 transfering all my content over, this will save time.
