The description on the Target site doesn't say 3D, although it shows 3D in the image. Hope that doesn't create a hassle at Store Pickup but I'm getting it, along with Apes, today. Thanks OP

Bestbuy had the 3D steelbook for 17.99
Recently? Online is shows up $27.99

Checked two different Target yesterday, only found one copy, though the Target app said all surrounding stores had them

Just picked one up at a local Target. Definitely 3D version, and it's $10.

Thanks so much for posting that it really is 3d, otherwise I was just going to let this deal slide and hope to pickup the regular blu during next Black Friday. I had been looking at the deal for hours today and didn't want to chance it not being 3d and the pic was just wrong... and then having to fight with the Service Desk people to cancel or buy & return it.

I've been waiting on a sale for this set, but this is much cheaper than I was expecting it to get this soon since it's barely gone on sale at all since release!  Just placed an order on Target for under $14 shipped.

Awesome!

Has anyone tried to get a PM for this at Best Buy? Much as the Target-clusive is tempting...Best Buy provides me points and convenience. Plus...they are doing 3x points on movie/TV purchases this week, so you can nab 30 points on this, I think?

Firstly, you're not on Target's Cartwheel I'm going to guess? They've run 20% off coupon codes for this pretty much back to back since it came out. Granted, it wasn't as cheap as $10 but like $16 with coupon and it stacked with a sale price the one week.

Secondly, you managed to get this shipped? Not sure how you managed that, you lucky dog. When I ordered last night it was only available for In-Store pickup, many when i just double-checked its still only available for pickup. I have no time in the next three days to get to my Not-very-local Target to pickup my order before they cancel it.

No, I've never used Cartwheel before- aren't those coupons in-store online and can't be used online? The closest Target to me is an hour from my house, so I've only bought a few things from Target the past several years and they've all been online.

Yeah, multiple people in this thread said that it was only available for in-store pickup, but I casually clicked the link and I could add it to the cart for shipping, for whatever reason. It hasn't shipped yet, but it's showing an estimated delivery date to my house between 2/10 and 2/13.

AND JUST LIKE THAT, IT'S BACK IN STOCK FOR SHIPPING!!!   :whee:

Total came to $10.26 with tax and free shipping after RedCard, woot woot!  :D/

(Apologies for tri-post but that's kind of a big deal, am I right? )

Anyone having problems with the DVD sticking to the bottom of the Blu-Ray? I'll need to return my copy because it's affecting playback...

going to pass, was disappointed with the movie.  Eva Green did a great job being creepy so it took away from her being nekkid.

Eva Green fans, check out the 300 sequel.  The main guy sucked, but she was really good in the role.  Great villain.  Plus, lets just say there's a scene of a little bow chicka bow wow that certain fans might like.

Speaking of the 300 sequel, is it worth the $10 at this point? Much as I love the Sin City duology, the 300 duology is definitely more buyable by me.

I didn't even make the Eva Green connection but just so happened to buy 300 (and Dawn of the Planet of the Apes) when I went to pick up the Sin City. There were quite a few $10 movies so I had to grab a couple more.

Just FYI, I got 300: Rise for $6.96 before tax on Black Friday.  I heard it wasn't good at all, but for less than $10, it was worth the gamble for me.  Still haven't watched it, though.

Rise of an Empire certainly wasn't as good as the original 300, but if you liked the original 300 at all, there's no way you can say that Rise "isn't good at all."  It's a decent sequel- not great, but definitely not awful.

So just finished watching this. Wasn't bad. I think they did a great job bringing the main story to the screen. My big gripe is they should of added on mother book or more short stories from book 6. I didn't mind the JGL story they added for the film but the Nancy and Marv story they added was pretty garbage.

Did you watch it in 3D? If so, how was it?
