same, only 3x points coupon good for a single purchase :(  Can't even use it on the Majoras Mask stuff I preordered since they are all shipped to me

In all seriousness. I didn't get one. However, I did get an email for 3x points on a single in-store purchase before 2/28.

 
I got 3X points too. I've never used it before. Can you use it on an in-store pickup order that has already been placed? If so I'm going to use it on the MM Limited Edition

No. Doing an In-store pickup order is considered an online order. On top of that, the transaction would have already been processed. You're just taking possession of the items you already paid for.

 
I planned to return/rebuy my MM LE 3ds and  apply a movers coupon. Can I also use the 3x points since it is a coupon? Also..... does it stack ontop of the 2x points for purchasing gaming stuff? So many questions, the 13th is going to be a very hectic day.

 
I got a "get your $115 reward certificate now".  They are not missing me.  Maybe they are just telling you to cash out too.  No 3x points or anything like that, but numerous, "did you miss what you were looking for" and "your shopping cart is waiting for you" every day.

I would just laugh if after you return it, the cashier says sorry, we have to keep this one and send it back. I can just see you crying. :rofl:

 
Just a heads up for you loyal Best Buy customers who shop there all the time.  Don't bother checking your email.  Best Buy only sends these surprise rewards to people who don't shop there.  If you want to get treated special by Best Buy, don't shop there.

Case in point, I have an old dormant MyBestBuy account that I never use.  It gets free certs a couple of times a year.  My primary account that I use pretty regularly (and has GCU) NEVER gets anything.  My dormant account also got a free Elite Plus upgrade last year.  As crazy as it sounds, it might actually be a good idea to make an additional account that you never use just to see if they'll try to "win you back" with freebies.

That would be hilarious and evil of them. I would obviously ask if I can return/rebuy it first, which I am pretty sure I can.

They sent me one of these last month...but the code said null call customer service or something...I think they were just trolling me.

I dont think calling customer service is worth 5 dollars in terms of my time.

 
Boo yah, Just got one even though I just bought dying light last week, so anyone who said you only get one if you dont shop at bestbuy is wrong and are just not lucky

LOL @ sarcasm. I think these posts help people whom have tons of emails everyday from various retailers and they delete them without even reading the subject. Posts like these will get them to dig through their email trash cans, hoping to find the deal.

You get the $5 rewards certificate if you haven't shopped there in a while. If you have, you get 3X reward points, or nothing. It's BB's way of punishing you for shopping there.

I have bought an iMac, Macbook, and countless other items in the last year and received one, as i said earlier i JUST spent 200 dollars and used a $5 certificate last friday...so your logic is flawed
