Thanks htz. I saw this post this morning but couldn't for the life of me find pstv on RadioShack.com.

Ugh, still passing on it...or maybe not...

I bit on it at that price. Hopefully I won't be too disappointed with it even with all the bad reviews and lack of support for it. Eh...now I feel like I just gave myself buyers remorse lol

Still needs a >=$20 memory card and $40 controller.

If it was $30 I would buy it. Isn't $50 what it was being sold for by someone else a little bit ago?

Well I caved and bought the darned thing. $50 is low enough for me and I already have 2 PS3 controllers and Lego Movie: The Game on Steam so I don't need the bundle pack anyway. Hopefully I don't regret it and can find some decent stuff to play. I never was a fan of hand helds really so I like the idea of playing Vita games on a big screen.

So, while I'm waiting for Falcom to get off their asses and send XSeed the patch for the US version of of Ys: Memories of Celceta to get it to work with the Vita TV, any recommendations on Vita TV compatible games, preferably ones that aren't already available on the PS3 or PC?

I still wouldn't buy for $30, unless it included a 64GB card.

This is tempting.  Hope Amazon or someone matches.  I already have the Borderlands 2 Vita bundle.  I kind of want a Dual Shock 4 Vita TV bundle more.  Yes, I said Dual Shock 4.  I can see it happening in the future, maybe without a physical memory card just a built-in 1 or 2GB memory on the Vita TV.

Well, as said many times, Persona 4 Golden. Also, Tales of Hearts R. Freedom Wars. DanganRonpa 1+2.

I bought a Playstation TV when it first came out for $99 and Indont regret it. I also own a Playstation Bita and a Playstation 4 in another room. The PSTV is in my bedroom for remote play. I use both consoles wirelessly on my WiFi network without issue.

It really depends on what you want to do with it and what games you're interested in playing.  A lot of prominent titles (like Uncharted) don't work on PS TV.  Here's a compatibility list from last year (but it hasn't been updated since last October):

https://support.us.p...-playstation-tv

Also, I believe there's still no support for Netflix/Hulu/etc.  And remote play gets mixed reviews, depending on network setups and what not.  And you'll have to shell out money for Sony's proprietary vita memory card (and you'll probably want a pricey larger card in the 16 GB+ range if you're planning on playing downloadable titles).

its only a matter of time before other stores start putting this on clearance. id just wait for another price drop at your local stores. don't think vita tv is doing well considering the vita failed to capture a good market as well

I would only get the bundle with controller personally.

Don't forget people, Radio Shack has filed chapter 11 bankruptcy.  That means you probably won't be able to make a return, exchange, etc.

If anybody cares about being "Refurbished" GameStop has them for $60 or $54 with PUR.

Just throwing it out there as a substitute since this is OOS.

GS is just the worst.  Seriously, why would someone trust their refurbs?

Well realistically speaking there isn't much to "refurbish" for the PlayStation TV. I can't imagine they're in bad condition by any means.

Technically I agree with you but I bought an Ipad 4 refurbished from Gamestop a few years back and its still working flawlessly.

Just asking, I tried getting a $10 coupon for signing up and I've been waiting over an hour for my coupon and still nothing, any idea why?

If it was $10 or $20 cheaper I would be pretty dark tempted.

Last time I tried to get a coupon like that it was like two weeks before it ever showed up.  Also, Radioshack.

Considering one, but I saw a Borderlands 2 Vita repackage as is on clearance at Target this morning for $140. Better deal? It said repackaged but I swear it had never been opened. I think the box might have been damaged.

Get that instead....I mean it's a Vita slim...that's cool and the only way to get that system in NA at least without importing one.
