If anyone cares, I just picked this up for $4.99 at Best Buy (360 version).  I know someone had linked it being on clearance before for I think $8.99, but the price on the shelf said $4.99, so they price matched it and also applied my GC discount.  I think I paid $4.35 total for it.  And it was the "Limited Edition" one with some extra crap inside.

Might be worth it to anyone looking to snag this game on the cheap.

I am a sucker for any game that comes with a soundtrack cd.  Yeah I paid like 8.xx for it a few weeks back.  I really hope best buy isn't trying to dump the 360 so quickly.

I wouldn't say no to a soundtrack CD but this game is pretty bad. That's not to say it isn't worth playing. Del Gonzo is a hoot and Miss Monday is mai waifu. Those two make the game worth at least youtubing alone. But holy cow it just is not even remotely fun. Splatterhouse does everything this game does but better by miles.

This is the first final boss I have ever fought that was so boring, so tedious, that I just quit the game rather than finish. It wasn't even the worst final boss I've ever fought but it is just so drug out and so awful that I just couldn't hack it. And I won't blame a single one of you who quit at the Ryu fight two levels earlier because that is just awful.

If you do put it in your 360s, it might be worth playing on Easy (If Easy isn't a trigger word for you) just to ensure you have a better chance of finishing. This isn't a game with enough depth to make it a test of manhood to play on Hard.

This game was like $10 a couple months after it came out I think. I Don't think it sold too well

Assuming the soundtrack is a full soundtrack, and the music is good, I would guess this deal would be a good one for the soundtrack alone.  Getting the game with it is just gravy.

Grant Kirkhope was the composer for this game, all that really needs to be said haha. :D

Listen to this guy! I played it on Hard the first go and it was frustrating at several parts of the game and I play real Ninja Gaiden games on Master Ninja difficulty so I'm not new to extremely hard hack n slash games. This game is hard the wrong way. Do yourself a favor and start the game on easy. It would be a much more enjoyable one time run.

Thats like saying "Assuming she is a little tight and doesnt smell too bad I guess banging her for 5 bucks isnt to bad. And getting aids from her is just the gravy"

I just can't pull the trigger on this game.  I get how *cheap* it is, but may be it's because all of us just have less time as we get older, and I have a hard time now justifying spending time on games that we know suck.  Heck, most of us don't even have time to play the AAA games out there.

If I see it at a BBY I might think twice, but I've got so many better games in my backlog that even $5 sounds like too much because it's no so much the money, but the time I'd waste and when I factor that in, it's still too much :)

I bought this game last year and at first I assumed the game was going to be crap because of all the negative reviews but, it turned out to be a really fun game and it was hilarious. Also I thought the final boss was great and funny one of the better final bosses I've seen in a while.

Don't get me wrong. I love Del Gonzo dearly and he is one of my favorite villains in recent memory. The problem is the final boss is just him talking at you over and over and over while he iterates through his slow as molasses patterns until he finally puts out the monster you need to get the weapon you need and then you wait and wait and wait some more until he makes the attack that makes him vulnerable.

Plus no mid-fight checkpoints if you die. That bathroom joke was funny the first two times but having to do the whole thing again? No thanks.

Any way to know if the Best Buy one is the limited edition or not? Would totally get this with GCU...

Anyone buy this from bestbuy.com with shipping and know the answer to this? I am only interested if it comes with the soundtrack/dlc/comic book (i.e. special edition)

I think it like killer is dead where the special edition is the only edition
I've only seen the Special Edition in stores but I was wondering if that's because it didn't sell well (it really didn't) and stores still had stock from release/early replenishment. I was worried a place like Best Buy.com or Amazon.com that has this for cheap might have burned through first print copies (if indeed that is all the SE was).

I guess for how cheap it is it is worth a try. Thanks for the response

The copy I ordered from Bestbuy.com around 3 weeks ago was the Special Edition with soundtrack.

It also comes with a comic.

I got this when it was $2.99 a few weeks back. Wish I had grabbed two more copies since it sells for like $15 on eBay.

I ordered on 2/26 from bestbuy.com and it arrived 3/2. It was the special edition with soundtrack, dlc, and comic book.
