The thing is, No.9 is looking like a spiritual successor to the classic Mega Man series, but A.0 is looking to be a spiritual successor to the X series, so comparing the two in the same light just isn't a thing to me, but both are lookin' fine.

Wasn't Mighty No. 9 supposed to be out by now? I backed the KS but haven't been following it too closely since then. Seems like it's taking a long time for a Mega Man-esque 2D game.

 
Unless it's been pushed back, they're aiming for an April release this year. Haven't seen a specific date however.
