Not much on the horizon so far this year. I definitely will pick up Xenoblade Chronicles X, Fire Emblem, P&D Mario, and Mighty No. 9 for sure. When Bravely Second and Dragon Quest VII come out I'll also get those, but who knows when those games will be released. I feel like Yokai Watch has reached an absurd level of popularity in Japan at this point and it's only a mater of time before the franchise makes it to the U.S. and other countries, but they will want to release the game alongside the anime and I would probably say expect both in the late Summer/Fall months.

There's lots of games I'm interested in on those lists but I absolutely need Dragon Quest VII and (most of all) Bravely Second. Xenoblade is a solid third but that's actually a confirmed and scheduled release (even though I already own the Wii version).

why are Rhythm Heaven, Style Savvy, and Theatrhythm: Dragon Quest TBA? I have yet to see any PR regarding their localizations.

Yokai Watch is TBA, but the above three wtf.

Hope for The West

Bravely Second
Broke down and bought the New 3DS XL, downloaded the Bravely Default demo.. Bought it that very day. I'm still in Chapter 2.. but loving every second of it.

PLEASE Square.... Please bring this to the US.

(sucks Nintendo region locks their stuff..)

It sold really well in the U.S. I don't see why they wouldn't bring the sequel over.

Yeah, Xenoblade is a must. Will get Fire Emblem if they get a release date. Really wanting a Mario Kart exclusive to the New 3DS. Or just something to make the upgrade worthwhile.

As much as I love the New 3DS, I really doubt we will get many exclusive games for the console. Too many people have the regular 3DS and will likely never upgrade. Xenoblade is a must buy for me as well, but outside of hardcore gamers the game doesn't appeal to a vast majority of 3DS owners. I hope that I am wrong and the game sells like gangbusters and Nintendo releases more games exclusive to the hardware.

I foresee a lot of games being better with the the New 3DS, but ultimately being compatible with the older models as well, just like the DSi.

Why are certain games N3DS only?

What does the N3DS do that Reg 3DS doesn't?
Has a better processor which means is it is able to handle more graphically heavy games that the original 3DS cannot handle. Xenoblade Chronicles is a port of a Wii game that came out late in the systems life and is one of the better looking games on the console. Games also load a lot faster on the New 3DS, Smash Bros. is a great example of this, it takes no time at all to load up on the New 3DS.

I'm pretty sure Etrian Mystery Dungeon is not coming out next week.  It's coming out April 7th according to my Best Buy preorder.

Wow. Nintendo actually has nothing coming out the rest of the year. Guess they shot their load with Xenoblade Chronicles and Majora's Mask.

Yo-Kai Watch and Rythm Heaven are the big ones on my list of games I'd want to play.

Can you update the list to see if they are only compatible with the new 3DS?

Does any of these upcoming releases work on the older 3DS's? I'm a bit confused in regards to the new 3DS and not sure what's comparable with what anymore.

All announced upcoming 3DS games through this 2015 year will still be compatible with older 3DS models. The only 3ds game exclusively for *new* 3ds system is the XenobladeChronicles title.

Dragon Quest VII this week, YES!!
With this game you just hope its good.

With every other game you have to hope that the game is good and that the company didn't lock too much of the game out to sell later.

Not with Dragon Quest 7. There's no stupid disc locked content like Amiibo or Season Pass. It's just the game. The whole game. And nothing but the game.

The game getting good reviews outside of a couple of racist reviewers. It's a solid game.
