I haven't seen a topic on this game yet, but I'll make this just to show you guys about this game.

Brawlhalla is a PC fighting game somewhat similar to the Smash Bros. series that is currently in closed beta.  It's been out for some time and is a really fun fighting game that is constantly getting updated.  Even though it's in closed beta, the devs give out keys pretty fast.  It's a great game that runs surprisingly well (I haven't noticed any bugs/glitches in 30 hours of gameplay), and the devs actually listen to the community!

While this game is in the same style of Smash Bros., it's got its differences.  Each character has the same moves, but different weapons that they're able to use.  Here are where the characters shine, as they all have different moves they can do with their weapons.  Two are available for each character, with each one having a different combination available.  There are also a few items that drop during the match (a bomb, a spiked-ball, a horn that allows you to call in a weapon, and a sticky bomb), none of which are over-powered or ruin the feel of the game (even in the competitive matches it seems balanced)!

Just recently they added in a ranked 1v1 system, which is really fun to play since the matches are pretty short.  It's a good game to pass time that gets even better when you have friends involved, so you can all partake in this hectic free-for-all.

Looks like Indie Brawler and Super Smash Bros. Bootleg that are freeware games for the PC.

I don`t see the appeal for someone who already has access to SMB. Looks decent though!
After putting some time into both of the series, they're actually quite different, with their only similarities being that they don't have a health system, items, and the multiple player brawl. Gameplay is a bit different and I think it's a bit more competitive/technical than Smash 4.

And yeah, the game is a lot more fun than it looks.
