That sucks. I'm DLing the demo now. My main pc has a i7 950 as well, but I'm running 6gb triple channel and a GTX 670. My living room PC has an i7 870, 8gb ram, and SLI GTX 470's. I'll have to try it on each.TEW PC was once cheaper on Gamersgate (digital distributor), during a glitch-sale where it was around $11...if glitch-sales count to you. That was around Thanksgiving 2014, IIRC.
TEW PC Demo ran like garbage on my PC in 1080p: never over 25 frames. Anywhere from 10-25 frames was normal there.
TEW PC full version runs a bit better (since it has been patched-up a bit) - but still, anywhere from 20-30 frames at any moment at 1080p. While the game is technically gorgeous, it just runs quite poorly on my PC. It's a shame that it runs poorly - b/c the game, from what I played, was quite good.
BTW, my PC = i7 950; 1 GB VRAM of GeForce 560 Ti; 16 GB RAM; Win 7 64-bit.
You'll probably have better luck w/ your PC with the GTX 670 than what I had. That sucks. I'm DLing the demo now. My main pc has a i7 950 as well, but I'm running 6gb triple channel and a GTX 670. My living room PC has an i7 870, 8gb ram, and SLI GTX 470's. I'll have to try it on each.
According to the Bethblog (It is Steam Activation):Can anyone confirm if this physical copy contains a steam activation code or if it uses some other type of DRM? I know TEW is on Steam but that doesn't always guarantee the physical copy is as well for PC games, much like the upcoming release of GTA V for example.

They can't. The game already drags into the 20s on ps4 with it.Wish they would just break down & make a patch to remove the letterbox on console. PC version has it via mod but I can't run the game on my system.
no offense, but what do you expect? you are running on geforce 560 ti. and that setup is ancient when it comes to pc hardware/components.TEW PC was once cheaper on Gamersgate (digital distributor), during a glitch-sale where it was around $11...if glitch-sales count to you.
