One of my all time favorite movies still to this day The Postman. Sure it's a little sloppy and has waaaaaaaay too much "In your face" patriotism, but I think it has some stellar performances and a mostly believable story.

What terrible movies do you love?

Are these movies so bad they're good, or movies everyone hates that you like?

I hear a lot of people didn't like the Cable Guy. That movie was genius.

I also really liked Unbreakable and The Village. But to be honest they're really only worth 1 watch.

Ok, either I am very tolerant with movie quality, or this thread does not deliver. Most of those are at least decent movies.

Somebody name something like Howard the Duck and then we can talk.

Every Fast and Furious. I don't care what you say, I like living my life a quarter mile at a time.
Yes, please! Quite possibly my favorite franchise ever! I'm debating if I'm looking more forward to Furious 7 or Avengers: Age of Ultron more. Hmmm.

Battlefield Earth. It was universally panned by EVERYONE and yet I think it's awesome.

I hesitate to post these here because they are cinematic masterpieces...

Anyone who doesn't enjoy these has poor character.

Mallrats isn't a bad movie at all lol.

And Cable Guy was pretty much hated when it was released but most people get it now.

As for me, I love Cabin Boy, Encino Man, Freddy Got Fingered, Johnny Dangerously and Saving Silverman. I think they are great but can't decide if I just see the true brilliance in them, or they suck like most people think and I'm the crazy one.

I'm with you on Freddy Got Fingered! People think Saving Silverman is terrible?

^5.9 imdb score, 22 Metacritic. I think the movie is fucking hilarious. It's got tons of really subtle nuances that are great jokes.

I love Saving Silverman. Jack Black and Steve Zahn should do more movies together.

Anyone like Baseketball? This is one movie I will never get tired of. I die laughing every time I watch it

Prayer of the Rollerboys starring Corey Haim and Patricia Arquette.  I remember renting this VHS a bunch of times as a kid back in early 90s when it came out (got it on DVD now, no blu ray version avail).  In the future gangs rollerblade around town shooting up stuff and there is a new drug out called mist, lol.

I love The Cable Guy and Me, Myself and Irene....... the only two Jim Carrie movies I liked.   My wife hates those two.

My wife will watch the fucking Twilight Saga whenever it's on TV over and over again ... Got forced to go see the last 3 with her.  Thought that if I bought the box set, she can see it whenever she wants privately not take over the plasma 58 incher with Twilight...

Absolutely, yes. I enjoyed Baseketball a lot.

The Hangover. Most of the people I know hate The Hangover trilogy, but I don't care. I enjoy them.
I think the Hangover is different than the trilogy as a whole. I loved the first one by itself. Sort of like the Saw and Paranormal Activity series.

Postman was great! It put a different spin on a post apocalyptic story especially for how early it was.

MIne:

'Masters of the Universe' (1987)

thought this was so awesome when i was little

also:

Flash Gordon

Demolition Man

Super Mario Bros (another one of the movies that tricked me as a child XD )

Some of you guys are naming movies that don't suck at all. Hangover? It's like the biggest r-rated comedy ever at that point.

I love the Street Fighter movie. So many great scenes and lines. Raul Julia is the best. Even though he was in poor health I heard he had a ton of fun making it.

And Zangeif's "Quick, change the channel" line is genuinely funny as hell.

I love Street Fighter. Great one liners. One of the better video game movies, in my opinion

Well I'm listing terrible movies that are good for being so terrible.

The Room - I couldn't resist. The movie is just awful, but I can't help but laugh every single time I watch it.

Also this movie I saw a year or two ago,

Miami Connection

I catch a lot of heat for admitting to enjoy Daredevil, Elektra, and Fantastic Four whenever Marvel talk pops up at work. Other than that, I'm a huge fan of the Dwayne Johnson Hercules, and recently I found out Jupiter Ascending wasn't really popular but I really liked that movie.

Street Fighter. Some great moments - But for me, it was Tuesday, the Bison Bucks, You come to fight a madman and instead find a God, etc. Great scenes.

Demolition Man was just funny in general. Gotta figure out how to use those clam shells.

Mario Bros. I love Mario Mario and Luigi Mario.

I don't think it is as universally panned, but I really loved the Mortal Kombat movie when it came out. Reptile and Scorpion were awesome and I loved Johnny Cage. Those were 500 dollar sunglasses asshole.

On a side note - John Leguizamo is pretty much the only Mario brother we have left since all the others have since died (and toss in Koopa too).

Always makes me laugh when people talk about movies they like that are terrible or funnier yet when they say "a guilty pleasure".

If you like a movie then it isnt terrible to you.

Like I like hudson hawk. Its univerally panned and considered the worst of bruces movies but I watch it because it makes me laugh and I am entertained. I never call it a bad movie because I like it.

The point is movies that are generally considered bad meaning most people dislike it, but you like it.

I know people thought this movie sucked.  I still enjoyed it and thought it was fun.  And Jaime Pressley.

I gotta back Starship Troopers and Street Fighter.

I fully acknowledge Street Fighter isn't good. But man, it's just one of my favorite movies of all time. Everyone praises Raul Julia, and rightfully so--no explanation needed there. I love the cheesy one-liners throughout as well as some of the longer monologues, Guile's speech and Bison to Chun-Li in particular. Little movements like when Van Damne hits the ambassdor on the chest or flexes his US flag tattoo at Bison.

I have all this crap memorized:

"I'm gonna get on my boat, and I'm going up river, and I'm going to kick that son-of-a-bitch bison's ass so HARD, that the next Bison wannabe is going to feel it."

"For you, the day Bison graced your village was the most important day of your life. For me, it was Tuesday."

"On the contrary, every Bison dollar will be worth 5 British pounds."
"Pavu!"

I gotta watch it again, been too long...

Happy to see all the love for Street Fighter. Now I want to watch it.

Ming Na (Chun Li) aged like a fine wine too. Been watching Agents of SHEILD and she looks incredible for 50.
