How trustworthy is a site that can offer half off a new game that isn't even out yet?  I mean there are deals and then there are stinkers.

It's kind of a "grey area" site.
That is what I figured. I mean I heard about those keys sold on another site like that and they were all revoked with no help from the publisher. But then that is what you have to be careful about. If it seems to good to be true it more then likely is.

I recommend http://www.nuuvem.com.br/ if you're looking for legit and not key sellers. Bought 8 games from them and every single one arrived when they said it would.
What Currency is that? Looks like british pounds but it could also be Russian. I am sorry but I can't tell.

Edit: nevermind I figured out it was Portuguese. Also that seems like a lot for some of those games that cost less then half that in the states.

Don't Worry, They just sell the games with low profits and they always give huge discounts. I have been regular buyer of them..

Googling them I found lots of people saying their keys were for the wrong regions/languages, or that their steam accounts were banned after using them, as is common with shady-ass sites like that.

Meanwhile, MKX is in Greenman's "VIP section" (just log in) for 43 bux. And they're actually a reputable site.

Edit: D2P is also selling preorders for games that (at this point) don't exist: Rainbow Six Patriots and Prey 2. Although Prey will probably show up at e3 now made by Arkane, official word is that it was cancelled so they shouldn't be selling that. Patriots is completely dead, replaced with R6: Siege.

Edit 2: according to their FAQ page (which is full of wonderful broken English) you have to verify new accounts via phone for some reason. There's also this disconcerting bit:
4. What happen's if i receive the request for ID verification and i do not want to send any ID.
We will refund your order and charge you an administrative fee of 10%, also depend of the risk level in your account we may decide if we need to ban your account or not.
Soooo, uh. I say stay clear.

Yes, Nuuvem is a legitimate store out of Brazil and they get their keys direct from the publishers. Most of the keys are ROW (worldwide) and the keys that aren't will be marked on the page, and won't allow you to add them to your cart anyhow.

See I am normally ok with over seas companies.  Buy stuff from Japans, the UK, and Canada all the time.  But once you start seeing deals like that with no real way of either verifying or really trusting the site, then you have issues.  No offense to the OP but I can see many people trusting this kind of site with the kind of history that Larry Davis pulled up from a simple google search.  And that whole keeping a 10% admin fee, yeah no thank you.  Plenty of other site want my money without making me go through those kinds of issues.

Yeah, I'm a maniac who imports every Yakuza game, among other things (pretty surprised J-Stars Victory VS is coming out here, wish I hadn't imported that~). But CD-Key selling is something you really need to keep an eye on. It's not that they're located overseas (Greenman and GOG both are), it's that the legality is extremely questionable. Oftentimes things like that are created via keygens, and redeeming one of those keys might make it so a legitimate retail purchaser can't redeem theirs that they paid for.

Other times they're just straight-up stolen retail copies. HOT GAMES!!!!

Personally, I have a ridiculous amount of money tied up in Steam and I'd rather not risk losing that by trying to save a few extra bux, but I can see the appeal for those with a less extensive library.

Why hasn't the OP been banned yet?

Why hasn't that last site been outright banned?

Tune in next time, same bat-time, same bat channel!

Yeah, that'd make me wary. Might just hold off til the Komplete Edition for PC.
