The cat is out of the bag on the CAG who was called out by the PR guy for Axiom Verge for selling a review code here and he has likely been doing so for some time, as evidenced by him deleting posts related to his ill-gotten codes. I haven't seen any mods or Cheapy speak on the subject of what, if anything, will be done about this specific CAG and if there are any plans on curbing this from becoming a common thing in the future, so I was hoping this thread could help address that.
I know there are a number of ways to get codes early in a legitimate way (Kickstarter, Early Access, giveaways, and such), so it might be a good idea to have a new thread/guide in the trade forums to have CAGs looking to buy and sell codes they've gotten before launch to ask for or provide proof that things are on the up-and-up. Of course, not everybody here cares about where their cheap, early codes come from, but this sort of stuff would be a step in the right direction.
