no funds just have my card linked to paypal also this happen when i preordered a blu-ray on funimation online shop my card did not get charge until the item was shipped a month latter
Mmmmm, maybe this is why you didn't get charged right away. I've never had a delayed charge through Paypal(at least that I ever noticed). I always have funds in my PP account, and funds are taken right away no matter what.
I've actually found in time, that it is better to not use PP for preorders, due to this issue. The FFX2 Play-Asia issues was a prime example of why not to use PP for any preorders, as there is only a 45 day window to make a claim for any damaged, or lost orders. If it takes weeks, or a month or more for your item to ship, you've now lost greatly in regards to that 45 day claim window.
It won't effect most, but it's something to think about for those using PP for preorders, especially when the funds leave instantly.
Child Of Light has a physical release now? Didn know that.
Yeah, it first appeared on BB site about a month ago, which spurred speculation of a physical release, and then I believe it was finally announced a short time later. I bought the EU version long after it was released, as I always get physical versions if and where available, and there was no signs this would ever come here physically, so I took the plunge.
The fact the publisher never said this was planned, was a HUGE fail in my opinion, but whatever. I could have saved $10, but in the grand scheme, it's not like this happens often. Actually, in all my years, this was the first time I ordered an import copy of an English version that ended up coming out later, so this was for sure the exception and not the rule. Considering the Vita's overall sales and popularity, I doubt this will EVER happen again.
should i get this? i rarely paid any vita game over $30-ish
I have almost 50 physical Vita games, and almost all of them where bought for 20 or less(10 in a lot of cases). So I understand the logic, but this game is supposed to be LE, but who knows. I spoke to the creator over at the Playstation blog a few days ago, and he stated this run is only slightly larger than the PS4 one, so I'm guessing 2500-3000 total.
So where most Vita games reach $25, $20, or even $10 at some point, it's very doubtful this one will. So while you get the "usual CAG suspects" who state this isn't a deal at $30, it really is, as once this sales out, it's very unlikely it can be purchased this cheap again. I say go for it, unless you don't like the game, and then why bother.
