If you want characters and a sense of character progression, WO3U.can anyone comment on how this game compares to dw8: xl?
It compares very favorably. Main draws are the much bigger roster (with unique move sets) and ability to switch between 3 different characters during a battle. Weird crossover story is hit or miss but I found it more interesting than the reshashed Three Kingdoms or Sengoku era storylines. DW8:XL has way better weapon customization and the neat distraction of Ambition mode, but WO3:U is as good as or better in most other ways.can anyone comment on how this game compares to dw8: xl?
SW4 also lets you build S-Links with like Miyamoto Musashi and Masamune Date and whoever, it's hilarious.Came to a Warriors Orochi thread, got sold on Samurai Warriors 4.

That said, I think Samurai Warriors 4 is the best Musuo game on PS4. It's the most technically impressive, has a new type of attack in addition to Light and Strong called "Hyper" attacks that are tons of fun to mow down the cannon fodder soldiers with, and Chronicles Mode lets you make a custom officer which the other 2 games don't let you do.
Of course, $23.99 with GCU for Warriors Orochi 3 Ultimate is a no-brainer if you like Musou games and wanna wait for SW4 to drop in price.
thanks! think I'll give it a shotIf you want characters and a sense of character progression, WO3U.
If you want customization and a more random experience, go with DW8E.
If you want a more tech-impressive game (like framerate, amounts of enemies, etc.), go with SW4
There has not been any confirmation of it for the west.any ideas if samurai warriors 4-2 is coming to the states?
That's the thing about Dynasty Warriors/KOEI games they actually take a while to drop. I know gamestop had DW 8:XL complete for PS4 for sale for $19.99 a few months back and gamefly had it on sale for $15 last wk or so.I picked it up. I like to get these when they are under $20 and I had a $5 reward zone.
They seem to hit a $20 clearance price and then go back up to $30-40 for used copies when the new ones sell out.
They are mindless fun and good to zone into sometimes.
