My last high school final is on May 13. Once I have finished that I will be needing something to occupy me throughout the summer. I have accumulated about 2 years of retail experience working for the gift shop of a local tourist attraction, and I currently have a 4.0 g.p.a if that really matters. If necessary, I could return to my current job for another summer, but I am interested in working retail somewhere else. I am 18 and am fine with making minimum wage, but I am wondering what everyone's opinions are in regards to working for places such as best buy, target, and toysrus. I am also wondering what the employee discounts are for these places and would like to know if they stack with other discounts (ex. Best buy employee discount with gamers club unlocked). Any help would be appreciated.

GCU doesn't stack with employees according to the Gaming Guru I talked to. Honestly he said that most coupons and sometimes even discounted items don't work with the employee discount. Do yourself a favor and work for BB though if possible I heard Target forces you to push a credit card and I don't know anything about TRU.

My advice is see if there is a local Starbucks and apply there. They have the best benefits I've seen even for part time employees.
