I was wandering at the Sea of LCL the other day and I saw another of the article where a kid run up thousands of dollar in bills on those f2p games. In a sense, it is the kids fault but I also think those game company made it too easy to spend money on those f2p games. Free to play game are designed with skinner box technique in mine and it is design to be addictive. That is not to say all free to [p[lay games are evil and design to rip people off. Warframe on ps4 is a good example that it can be free and fun. How the other hand, all of these free to play game rely heavily on whale to survive. I mean think about it, there is no way a f2p company can survive if everyone really just do free play.

Most f2p games are designed with the mindset of ripping off the customers as much as possible without a sense of morality. I guess that what a company is design to do, made as much money as possible without being illegal. You know what this sound like? Banking. The 2008 financial crisis was partly cause by the amoral banker that try to made as much money as possible without regard to the customer. One can see the parallel between those bank and ceo of the f2p games company, like Konami current direction.

I received some comments that it is a very good design of a game that made people part with their money. A lot of these free to play games are made with the help of the professional psychologist to design games that will cause addiction and made average human mind tick. I am not saying making as much money is wrong but in the current trend, it is no different from like car company using subpar material to made cars to made more profit or food company being amoral of food recall since it would be cheaper to do settlement than doing a tainted food recall since it would be cheaper.

If something is design to be addictive and is design to rip people off, shouldn't be it regulated by law? I mean it doesn't have to be a government of body to set the rules. I believe game maker are better those those corrupted banker who rip people off for a living, or I would like to think so.
